Today
B: low carb orange cake with cream (zero bg impact -RESULT!!!)
L: excavation soup*
D: will be more excavation soup*
* basically Excavation Soup is whatever comes out of my archaeological dig in the fridge during my soup making frenzy. Today's E Soup involves home made chicken stock, courgette, aubergine, spring onion, garlic, those wee little red peppers stuffed with feta (needed finishing up), smoked cheese slices (likewise), and even a chunk of corned beef left over from Mr B's sandwiches, with half a bag of Spring greens thrown in at the last moment. All hand blendered together.
eating some elderly and very slimey whole red chillies.
Reminds me of when son, daughter in law, 2 grandsons, 3 cats and one very big Leonberger came to stay for almost 5 months while their new house was being completed. I couldn't cope with stairs at that point so was sleeping downstairs - large doggie was in large cage as he is fond of lying on you which would not have done my spine a lot of good. Anyway, his tummy was a bit dicky so he escaped from his 'escape proof' cage , spotted human company I. E. Me!! came galloping over and lept on me delighted with company. This is 5am by the way.Oooh... Good luck with that! Could get a bit... Um... Explosive.
I thought it was impossible too?I knew my BG was weird today - I've just got over a 3.2 hypo! (Who was it that claimed that a T2 can't have a hypo on metformin?) This house isn't geared up for hypos I finally found a bag of out of date jelly babies in an old work bag - now back up to 4.5.
No, it's happened to me before but never when I've been low carbing. I am getting very stressed over work and - unbelievably - the new dog, but I'm surprised I had a hypo.I thought it was impossible too?
