What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

@Lesleywo it is a 100g plastic pot of pomegranate. It's handy as if I had a whole pomegranate I'd probably eat the lot.
I have a pot of pomegranate in freezer that I bought frozen but never thought of eating it on its own. I put some in a salad with grilled haloumi and baby spinach once, the rest is still in there.. I guess you could put some in a diet jelly. Is it low in carbs? I know it's very good for you

@Lesleywo there are 11g of carb and 50 calories in a 100g pot. I often put it in salads too. I confess I just enjoy eating it. I suppose it's my treat at the end of the day and worth the 11g of carb

L: orange and rum lc cake with cream
D: onion, peppers, aubergine, cherry toms, garlic all stir fried together, with diced chicken breast poached in stock with balsamic vinegar and as little pomegrate molasses as i could get away with. I was trying to be DD, but then i got creative, and i dont think i put enough butter in, because now (bedtime) i am peckish.

Pom molasses is my latest guilty pleasure. It was an ingredient in my lc cranberry sauce at xmas. And now i am left with 2 bottles (it was a BOGOF deal) of this heavenly item. Only trouble is it is really sweet! Have to use it in minute quantities. Tiny drizzles across salad leaves, a teasp in tonights chicken... Heavenly.
