Sunday
breakfast - porridge with almond milk and ground flaxseed.
lunch/dinner - Roast beef with gravy made from the juices, 1 tiny roast potato as a treat, lashings of broccoli and a bit of cauli. MIL also did some carrots but they were the worst I've ever had, nothing to do with her cooking, they were really sweet and very 'woody' and chewy, really horrid! none of us could eat more than a couple of slices.
Pud was tiramisu for Mr G and his mum and coffee jelly pud with Alpro yoghurt for me.
snack - a little cube of cheese and a couple of silverskins.
Mr G is from a Scots familyso he likes his porridge most mornings and I can manage a smallish bowl without it being too catastrophic for my bg.
I think I'll have a go at making something tiramisu flavourish but low carb and calorie, it used to be one of my favourites - I could do lower carb but I still have a lot of weight to shift
@Goonergal slice the sprouts and fry in the butter ... Delicious!
A favourite of mine with sprouts is to half and stir fry with chopped panchetta, spring onion and for the last couple of minutes some pine nuts (how many depends on how many sprouts but don't go over the top)I'll have to give that a try.
