It come out looking ok with that light browny colour, did not baste it although I might try that next time to see if I can get it darker.I didn't think it would turn out very nice but yours has turned out looking very nice.

L: 10 Pringles - highly regrettable. the carbs were OK, in the grand scheme, cos I followed them up with sliced cheese, plenty of water, and climbing the stairs a few times. What was regrettable though was the fact that they were not quite as fresh as they could have been. Mr B opened the tube last night, and today they were already past their best. Sad eh?
D: the delicious Dietdoctor chicken with feta, cream, pesto and olives. Lovely. Lovely. Lovely. And I made enough for several meals, so that makes life simple for a day or two. Oh and cauliflower rice with the rest of the salad bag with a bit of Balsamic vinegar.
I expect there will be a few squares of Montezuma Black Forest Gateau choc too, since it is wonderful. 70% solid with fragments of dried cherry - really intense flavour - scattered through it. 4 squares = no blood glucose impact, so far as I can detect. So my main priority is to savour it slowly rather than eating it too fast.

Struggling with a cold and aching muscles the past couple of days (first cold in over 3 years), but so far no big impact on my blood sugar levels. Let's hope that continues.

T Steak with peppers and courgettes stir fried in coconut oil and butter, followed by an *apple
*I suspect thats where it all went wrongBefore my tea tonight I measured 4.4 , an hr later 9.0 then 8.1 after another 30 minutes. No more apples for me oh and
I wouldn't write off apples without a bit of further testing.
Here is my thinking:
Is 4.4 a bit lower than you usually see? Or were you v hungry?
If so, your body might have reacted to being lower than usual with a liver dump.
In which case, you 9 may have been due to the liver dump and the apple.
I wouldnt expect the steak and veg to impact at all, within an hour, and if the apple came after the main course, then that would be slowed down too.
If you want to test my theory (although feel free to write my suggestion off as some OCD excuse for a testing frenzy) then eat an apple by itself, and test every 15 mins til your bg returns to the starting point.
