What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

Hello. I had a good start to the day as posted earlier.
D. Fish in butter sauce with a small amount of potato and peas. It wasn't perfect but it could have been a lot worse. I am feeling a lot happier with the day. :)

B: Coffee with Lactofree
S: Coyo with chia seeds, flax and pecans
L: 2 scrambled eggs with chorizo, half a tomato, half avocado and feta cheese
D: 2 chicken thighs cajun style, half a baked aubergine, half a tomato, half avocado and feta cheese. 1 square 70% choc.
 
B: dried coconut, chia seeds and some lactofree cream. Mmmm

L: blt in cafe only had 1 slice o bread.

S: a lot of nuts. Too many nuts.

D: mutton mince with veg n spice with cauliflower cheese (made with 1 dsp of gram flour, I needed to thicken it)

I will however have a sniff ( ;) ) at your 'cephalic pase insulin release' and see if it looks like a possibility. Although, I must admit that my first reaction on reading your suggestion was to question your sanity. When, in the history of the world, has a jelly baby been that close to a human nose and mouth and lived to tell the tale? (or set aside for sniffing the next morning?) I mean, REALITY CHECK, please!

Will let you know if I try it though.

The temptation to rips it's head off would be too strong.... so I don't think I'll be going there any time soon.....
 
B: chia et al, with blueberries, instead of rasps... they actually looked pretty good at local farm shop and the lass said I could try... so I did and bought some.
L: celery, olives, garlic, avocado and sauerkraut
D: bol, with small portion of twice cooked spag.... avocado, tom and artichoke salad dripping in EXOO... one glass of red and one coffee choc

Hi to all. A recently diagnosed new member here.This thread has given me some great idea's to vary things.I now feel this will be sustainable,especially as I keep discovering new options daily.Haven't been very hungry today.Maybe the Metformin.

Breakfast : Coffee and double cream.Really enjoyed this as I just can't get on with unsweetened soya milk in tea.

Lunch : half a packet of pork scratchings and two tomato's.

Dinner : Toast made from half a Lidl high protein roll with loads of Lurpak two fried eggs,and 100g of Stornoway black pudding.Delish.

Snack : have roasted some pork shoulder keep pinchin bits out of the fridge.

Just a quick question, I bought some lactose free milk just for use in tea, does this solve the milk issue??

B: three egg cheese omelette (planned a two egg one but got a double yolker!)
L: chia seed, coconut and raspberry pud. Redbush and vanilla tea.
D: cauliflower couscous with feta stuffed mushrooms. Chocolate orange almond cake.

L: three egg omelette, ham and cheese
D: spinach, aubergine, runner bean monkfish tail coconut milk curry..... way too much rasps and creme fraiche

B. Raspberries and yoghurt

L. 2 rashers of bacon with a sausage, half a tomato and a fried egg.

D. (An odd mixture but very enjoyable) pork scratchings , antipasti selection of olives, sun dried tomatoes and artichokes and an individual portion of Brie. .
I have some raspberries and cream in case it is needed when watching the chefs compete in the British menu for the WI centenary meal. :):)
 
No breakfast.
Lunch ham salad.
Dinner will be pork belly strips, baby potatoes and broccoli.
Snack handful of peanuts and sugar free jelly couple of strawberries and double cream
 
Today
B - 2 rashers bacon and a fat bomb
L - Chicken salad & an avocado
S - some macadamia nuts
D - Prawn & spring onion omelette, made with loads of butter.
 
B - spinach pancakes, bacon, fried eggs and some no sugar maple syrup
L - a couple of seed crackers with creamy runner bean and courgette soup
Snack - some peanuts
D - out for a meal at our local Indian. Had aubergine curry for starters, then a lamb ball curry (minus the chickpeas!) with sag paneer and cauliflower curry as sides.

L: olives, aubergine, gherkin.
D: haddock broccoli avocado/rocket salad, rasps and creme fraiche.

and ready for bed.... long day.

S: Teaspoon of almond butter
L: Bacon & avocado frittata with courgettes baked in herbs & parmesan
D: Will be haddock fried in ground almonds,broccoli / cauli mash, strawberries & cream

May have a bit of cheese tis evening
