I'm tempted too but must focus on blending more first.Well, I've only been and gone and done it and bought an air fryer/dehydrator combo. Oh boy. Here comes another learning curve.
@jayney27 Oh you showoff you.Quick update re pizza gate
5.1 before first bite 5.8 at 2 hrs 5.6 after 3hrs 5.1 at 4 hrs
@Moggely it was a complete surprise and shock to see such great numbers, but when I think about it the base was made from a very high grade multi flour and lovely and thin, the toppings were all allowable low carb, cheeses, mushrooms and ham, so maybe it just balanced everything out. I won’t repeat the experiment any time soon and may find that the result is different when or if I do, there is no rhyme or reason to numbers and diabetes as we all know
Lovely to read that you had a great day xEvening all I’m back from a wonderful couple of days in brum meeting up with a few forum members and a brilliant opportunity to spread the word about the low carb way of eating. All of us were filmed to tell our stories and press/pr photos taken including our big trousers photos for those of us who have lost weight on this way of eating. Thank you so much @Debandez for all your hard work getting it started you deserve a well earnt feet up time tonight and lovely to meet up with people from the forum - I think we should have an annual get together in different places, I so enjoyed it. It also went way too quickly.
I had a long interesting conversation with the nutritionist from the low carb programme about our thread and ideas and she’s going to try out a few of our ideas.
Breakfast in Wetherspoons - two slices of bacon and fried eggs
Lunch tuna, boiled eggs and some cheese with a few green leaves plus coffee and cream
Dinner chicken curry served with one slice of LC bread fried in ghee and glass red wine followed by one small clafoutis with yoghurt
Quiet day planned tomorrow
I make a small portion and eat it with a couple of chopped up strawberries and cream. I eat breakfast around 8am, then don’t eat lunch til getting on for 2pm. I feel just comfortably full during the morning. I wonder if you’ve over cooked the ‘porridge’, I heat it really gently and stir it all the time. It can go quite dry and solid if you cook it too much?Late breakfast of coconut porridge. @Rachox, I don't know how you eat that every day. Tasty enough, but an hour later I had the feeling of setting concrete in my innards!. That scuppered my plan to have early dinner. Just tried a mushroom and bacon cheese omellette, made with 2 eggs, managed about a quarter of it. Full to the brim. No room for coffee or water.
@jayney Yes i'm jealous of those numbers and i was just kidding with you. It looked to me like a LC meal so no reason why you couldn't have it again is there. Sounds delicious. I don't have a very good imagination as far as food goes and could eat the same things everyday. Interesting to see what others have and always leaves me drooling.@Moggely it was a complete surprise and shock to see such great numbers, but when I think about it the base was made from a very high grade multi flour and lovely and thin, the toppings were all allowable low carb, cheeses, mushrooms and ham, so maybe it just balanced everything out.
