What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

B. 2 small slices spelt & rye bread toasted, butter & marmite
S. Coffee, cream
L. Tinned sardines in brine salad & hot swede (weird, I know)
S. 2 sugar free sweets
D. Finishing up home made soup & garlic bread - 3 slices
 
Hello:)

B. Raspberries and cream

L. Bacon, egg, sausage, mushrooms and a sliced tomato.
Didn't feel well this afternoon, just think I'm starting with a cold.

D. Raspberries and cream
 
BF usual guac and celery
L turkey green beans and mushrooms scallions then topped with garlic EVOO and a thwap of mustard and mayo (usual lunch)
D 3 oz beef burger crumbled on romaine with mushrooms and topped with mustard mayo dressing, left over guac and broccoli
The theme with me is mustard and mayo. I can't seem to get enough
Snack green olives
 
B: cup of tea.
L: sage and onion pulled pork, small dollop of sweet potato mash and green beans.
D: corgette made in to papadel with mango,lime and chilli dressing, griddle mushrooms and rest of corgette. Salmon fillet with thin spread of harrissa paste.
S: kiwi, blueberries, strawberry and black pepper tea and loads of fizzy water.
 
Breakfast: Stir fry of smoked tofu, mushrooms, onions, garlic, courgette, red pepper, celery, cabbage, ginger and soy sauce.
Late Lunch: Flax seed cheesy pancakes
Tea: Last of the pancake batter, with lemon and stevia.

All delicious!
 
B: lemon & coconut mug cake with lemon mascarpone. Thought it would taste nicer. Could hardly taste the lemon. Also think I'm developing an adversity to coconut flour as the past couple of things I have made using it have left me feeling slightly nauseous:(
L: none. Spent 3 HOURS in Magnets with a kitchen designer. By the time I got out it was WAY past lunch time:meh:
D: courgetti bolognaise; sugar free raspberry jelly with raspberries
S: hot choc :happy:
 
B: cheese on toast. (nearly one lidl roll cut in 2)
S: 4 pieces of 90% dark chocolate
L: (chocolate fudge cake from tescos reduced half price) feeding my cold? Tut tut my son's love for chocolate cake talked me into a piece. I blame the 90% chocolate for giving me the taste back. WITH cabbage, fried onion, broccoli and very hot gravy.
D: 3 kidies fish and veg bites. In the shape of a fish.
S: at 12 midnight was hungry and stressed about very bad cold so had some cod's roe. My fav.
Fbg 5.3 with only insulin with naughty cake.
Too honest? I hope not.
 
Yesterday's delights
Brunch - 2 bacon, 2 "Heck" 97% pork sausages, 3 fried eggs
Dinner - 2 sea bass fillets fried in olive oil & butter, cauli rice
Snack - Fridge Raiders, cocoa, a sneaky glass of red and couple of choccies
 
B two slices bread three rashers of bacon this is my only carbs for today.
 
B: coffee and double cream
L: (sitting in hospital waiting area) 30g bag pork scratchings and 7.6g carbs mini bar moser roth chocolate
D: either half a chicken carvery meal or pub steak meal which, for me, equates to a 10oz ribeye with a large side salad and baconaise (mayo with bacon in it)
S: Brazil nuts
 
B: cup of tea X 2
L: Lidl low carb roll, fried mushrooms, butter, jam
D: pork sweet and sour, 'better than rice', low carb home made banana and peanut butter ice cream - delicious!!
S: Atkins Bounty type thing
Sounds so yummy how do you make the homemade banana and peanut butter ice cream please.
 
@amgrundy Apparently skimmed milk has sugars added to give it more taste once the full fat has been reduced, so it isn't good for diabetes. Cream gives us the added fats to help replace the 'full' feeling we get from carbs. Double cream is even better.

D: actimel drink, 3x heck 97% sausages, roast corgette and mushrooms, tinned plum tomatoes.
S: lime soda, water, chicken mayo, maybe some almonds if still hungry which these days I always am!
 
B - macadamia nuts and apple
L - baked herby chicken breast, with lettuce, tomato, red pepper and grated carrot, creamy salad dressing
D - nutri bullet smoothie - avocado, some banana, spinach, apple, ginger, coconut milk drink

S. Low carb blueberry muffin

D. Homemade Irish stew. We haven't had this for ages because of the potato so we really enjoyed it. :)

Edit. My bs went up to 14 afterwards so we won't be having it again for ages if ever
