What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I've just made myself cauliflower cheese- cooked cauliflower in microwave for 5 mins with a couple of bay leaves and then poured away the water. I put grated cheese all over and some yoghurt and dried onions and back in the microware for the cheese to melt. After I had a small peach.

Oh dear, so what bread do you eat? I've tried the Lidl protein roll & I really don't like them. Last week I bought a small loaf from Morrisons - spelt & rye (I think it was rye). Anyway, lovely bread, only trouble is I could have eaten 1/2 the loaf!! Not sure of the carb content, but I seem to remember it's lower than "normal" bread. Nice and light and kept well.

I don't eat any bread or pasta, rice or potatoes. These used to be my staple foods but now on HFLC regime so I find it easier just to eliminate them completely.

Yesterday's efforts
B - bacon & coffee with coconut oil
L - turkey salad
D - sirloin steak& sausage

Morning. You're doing really well on cutting out dairy. Any positive results? I'm struggling a bit to cut out cheese...love a bit of cheese, I do.

Yesterday:

B: Water
L: Water
D: Chicken & Chorizo Stew, Frozen Berries with Cream.

N.B. To avoid a red card from the fasting police I must admit I got home from work an hour earlier than usual, so my evening meal was only 23 hours after the previous day's

Nothing yet. I don't really expect to see or feel anything much different until I retest the LDLs in a few months.

And anyway, it's as much coincidence as planning that there's been no dairy so far this week! I've got a pot of cream waiting for when I get home tonight! Mug cake!!!!!

Breakfast - Tinned sardines (in olive oil)
Lunch - Raw Cabbage and chicken strips
Dinner - Chicken and cabbage Mexican style
Supper - 3 chocolate muffins ( I lost all control)
Woke up with a fasting BS of 4.6 mmol so no damage done :-0

B: Coffee and double cream
L: Half a pack of that weird carb free rice, chicken and mushroom curry. Not sure about the konjac rice stuff but it was bought as thoughtful present for me so I am giving it a try. :( Will use the other half tomorrow. :( :(
Work meal: Lidl protein roll, guacamole, and a romaine lettuce, celery , cucumber and spring onion side salad.
Supper: one little bar Moser Roth 75% chocolate. :)

Update: The weird carb free rice stuff was actually okay. It didn't have any taste so went okay with the curry and gave a bit of rice like texture and bulked out the meal. It had a bit of a funny smell on opening but that completely disappeared on rinsing, draining and heating.
