Been away for a couple of days, so food has been very different from usual.
Thursday:
From what I can remember...
B: nothing
L: coffee substitute and cream followed by leftover chicken and veg from night before
D: self serve carvery. lettuce, tomato, pate and coleslaw, followed by roast beef, red cabbage and courgette/sweetcorn mix. Then had a small slice of too sickly cheesecake. left the base (cos of the gluten) and added cream, but didn't really enjoy it.
Yesterday:
B: bacon and egg
L: gorgeous LC salad of cold meats, cheeses, antipasti and some berries. Heavenly
D: self serve carvery, so I went for turkey breast with coleslaw, sliced tomatoes, cabbage and 2 new potatoes with butter. Odd combo, but it made sense at the time. Skipped pud by forgetting all about it.
Today:
B: bacon and egg
L: nothing so far
D: intending to do something creative with chicken thighs and celeriac, so maybe a celeriac rosti or celeriac chips.
