B: Two slices of grilled halloumi and a tomato
L: Chicken and Salad
D: Hubby wanted a takeaway, I wasn't keen, but went with it and made a reasonable choice. Instead of having a main, I had a tandoori chicken starter, aloo paneer, and a salad. It was wonderful. My bs was 8 two hours afterward, which is very decent for me.

Today's mission is to find some ingredients to make some low carb savoury breakfast biscuits. I'm thinking ground almonds, chia seeds, cheese, maybe some olives dotted in there? Not sure how it's going to go yet.

Friday....

Breakfast: Paleo porridge with 40g raspberries

Lunch: Prawns and boiled egg with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, radish (all from garden), red onion and mayo

Dinner: Grilled chicken breast, cauliflower, broccoli, runner beans, gravey

Drinks: Black coffee with breakfast and mid morning, then sparkling mineral water

Breakfast - 2x small slices gluten free toast with veggie pate, boiled egg and ginger + lemon tea (no milk)
Lunch - Mixed salad (no onions/tomatoes) with nut 'luncheon' + vegan mayo dip ( salivating now as not eaten at time of post!)
so far 1.5 L of water ( will have approx. 4 L total thru day)
Dinner (5pmish) omelette with mushrooms and spinach and vegan 'cheese'
Nibbles - 25g marmite flavour cashews (Yum!)

This is such a frustrating condition. HUGE unexpected liver dump this morning - up from 4.8 to 6.9! Ravenously hungry too - also unexpected.

Breakfast - always skip, but caved in while out shopping and went into M&S for some emergency Crackling Crisps. Haven't had them before - very tasty.

Lunch - tuna mayo with baby spinach and cherry tomatoes; 2 squares Lindt 90%

Delayed dessert - waiting for Oppo Chocolate and Hazelnut ice cream to melt enough to get it out of the tub. To be served with double cream.

Dinner - will be 2 Waitrose free range Cumberland sausages, 2 rashers bacon, 1 Birds Eye burger.

And if that lot doesn't keep the hunger at bay, something is seriously wrong!

B Yeo Greek yoghurt, cherries, flax seeds, 10g Lindt 70%

D 2 slices of buttered Livlife toast, 2 x fried eggs , 4 rashers of bacon, builders tea, 10g Lindt 70% then a long afternoon nap

Snack 50g of roasted nuts

T Just under 1/2 an M & S Butter chicken ready meal, 3 pieces of M and S chicken pakora, DD naan bread which was lacklustre/disappointing to look at (like Smash mashed potato) but tasted very naan bread normal indeedy:)), 50g of Oppo salted ice cream

That was very, very enjoyable and reasonably low carb Faturday :):):) I have missed my Faturday treats!

Breakfast/lunch around 1100: Salad with a small piece of grilled salmon. Supper: Leftover grilled fish from last night's meal, a sliced tomato, and 2 homemade broccoli fritters. I do not bake much but made a low carb coconut 8" square pan cake today and had a slice for dessert with real whipped cream.

Following your 800 cal plan with interest @Chook do you find you are able to build in enough fat to keep you full?

The first two days were horrendous - I was soooooo hungry - but I was following other forum member's threads who were saying what the ND website says, that it gets easier after the first couple of days. And, much to my surprise, it did! I am using oil and butter by the measured teaspoon rather than my normal glug or chunk but since day 3 I've not been hungry at all except just before meals. :)

Wedding over. It was a lovely day but 2.30am bedtime is a bit much for a few of us these days.
I'd dropped to 6.2 before my very late bedtime but FBG 7.6 and pre breakfast got to 8.3. Back to 6.9 after struggling to get under 7 all day.
Yesterday
B. Slice Hovis lower carb seeded, 2 scrambled eggs and thin ham. Tassimo Americano Grande with a dash of cream.
L. & D. At the wedding. Did have a few canapes. Chicken skewers and a goats cheese in filo. Started with pate, rocket and onion chutney with a piece of wholemeal roll. Main chicken breast stuffed with haggis , passed on the potato and veg was a mix of cubed carrot, parsnip and swede. The dessert was a stacked strawberry shortcake but I got just the strawberries with a little cream. Had more than a few dry white wines and a couple of prosecco. Switched to water about 8pm. Was really hungry later so ate about 1/2 a small bowl of stovies (similar to corned beef hash) .
Had around 50g carbs yesterday so back on the straight and narrow today.
B. Same as yesterday, wafer thin ham, 2 scrambled eggs, slice Hovis lower carb seeded and Tassimo Americano grande with a dash of cream.
L. Urban Fruit triple toasted coconut chips and another Tassimo Americano grande with a dash of cream.
D. Not normal Sunday - will probably have a campari and soda but can't see me having a wee prosecco.
Start - carbonara with Oomi noodles
Main. Was to be pork stuffed with black pudding and Apple but Hubby wants rib eye so now rib eye, mushrooms, cauliflower cheese and green beans. Carb eaters also having roast potatoes. No dessert for me today.
I resisted the wedding cake as the memory of what that lemon drizzle cake did to me was still lingering.
