What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

About 10:00 2 hard boiled eggs with mayo
Ran a few errands
Had a severe case of return from holiday blues . Seemed to be running around doing everything for others, the curse of being '"capable", everyone else escapes responsibility.
Did a supermarket shop, not a good idea in a bad mood, as bought and ate a whole "sharing" chocolate bar. Been feeling nauseous and headachy every since, just to add to my grumps

My attempt at fasting to atone was a bit of cheese on one seedy flatbread cracker
Hoping tomorrow brings a change of mood

Can’t remember what I ate yesterday. Apart from a salad with crustless quiche in the evening.
Today blueberry pancakes ( made with egg and cream cheese) and a blob of cream, black coffee for breakfast.
Lunch, salmon, boiled egg, olives, black coffee
Dinner, beef bolognaise without the pasta, but topped with grated cheddar cheese, sugar free tonic water.

Tell me more!
The blueberries are on offer at my supermarket, still expensive but this might just be worth it!
I use one egg, one heaped tablespoon of cream cheese, whizz them together with a stick blender, sometimes a drop of vanilla essence or cinnamon powder added. Don’t bother with sweetner, as I don’t like the after taste. Melt some butter in a frying pan, add thin layer of the pancake mix, and fry on medium heat for about two minutes each side.
Blueberries I use frozen from supermarket. Put them on the topof the cooked pancakes, with a blob of cream. Usually get two decent size pancakes. Would photo them to show, but you have probably guessed, I am too lazy for that, and wouldn’t like them to get cold.

Going to try!
No sweeteners and no almond flour is my kind of recipe!

Hello all. Have had a very upset digestion so have eaten very little. 1 sausage, 1 egg and 1 small slice streaky bacon. For tea, 2 hard boiled eggs and salad. Hopefully better tomorrow

Breakfast was cauliflower rice with egg scrambled through it. Feeling hungry though so I had a snack of RyVita and cheese around 2 pm. Two RyVita was too much and I had to take Rennies to settle my nausea down.

Might, or might not, have some smoked mackerel later, perhaps with some salady things.

Breakfast: my usual low carb coconut ‘porridge’ with strawberries washed down with a black coffee.
Late morning: black coffee and a carb killa bar.
Skipped lunch.
Mid afternoon: black coffee and an Aldi protein bar.
Dinner: lemon and pepper infused salmon and cream cheese on a LC bread roll with coleslaw and two baby orange tomatoes followed by DGF jubilee cake and cream.

Above is the link to a souffle pancake mix I use. One of my favourites. I have added blueberries to the mix before.

It's in my CMT as well.

They look amazing, but almond flour (or almonds and a decent food processor) are a bit too expensive for my tastes so I'll go with @Pipp s recipe first. :)

Pleased to report in a much better mood today
Mid morning: 2 plums and ff greek and seeds
On a walk to the post office I went past a plum tree that grows in the hedgerow not owned by anyone, and its the time of year whe there are windfalls, only 2 today but they were perfectly ripe and warm from the sun. Times like these I can't believe natural seasonal fruit in moderation can be harmful, surely?
L: half a perfect avocado
Mid afternoon 2 sqs 85% chocolate
D: 2 lamb kofta and half a 97% sausage, a spoonful coleslaw and a few olives

My only exercise was using watering cans to do the veg and fruit and anything wilting in the garden, which proved to be a lot. A full 30 minutes weight lifting equivalent methinks

Yesterday and today brekkie of a slice of LC toast, lots of tea.
I have started using Kingsmill Crustless Wholemeal which is 7-8g as HiLo (5g) is rarely available anymore. Lunch yesterday was bit of Emmenthal, spoon coleslaw, 3 h/g cherry toms and cucumber. Supper was cod loin in a mushroom & cream sauce with green veg. Out to lunch today with friends so will aim for salad bowl or chicken.
Supper tonight will be Waitrose Chicken Shaslik and veg maybe cauli rice.

Hello all. Am still feeling out of sorts so have decided to eat as little as possible today to rest whatever needs resting! Am drinking filtered water and have only had one weak coffee today. I had 2 scrambled eggs with some grated cheese and for tea I will have ham with salad. I will beat this bug. I want to be well for my trip to America! Have a nice weekend everyone.
