What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

B 3 bacon
L 1 slice of burgen toasted with Philadelphia and 1/2 an avocado with a soft poached egg & black pepper, handful of nuts
D 3 flat mushrooms with melted blue cheese & 2 good sausages, sugar free jelly.

May have one of Ellie's ginger nut biscuits later ( misses made some, lovely )

Breakfast, yogurt and berries
Lunch, Prawn Mayonnaise on almond bread
Dinner, Baked broccoli and cauliflower, and salmon. Yogurt and strawberries.

B: cheese omelette

L: salad with leftover tahini dip as a dressing, fennel tea

D: crustless quiche (asparagus, tomato and feta) with roasted broccoli.

Brunch: pulled pork. I kid you not.
Dinner: chicken livers in butter and onions, with cauli and broccoli in cheese sauce. Green beans.
S: an enormous low carb hot chocolate, with a lot of cream
S2: 2 Thorntons continental chocs

I feel I have achieved my chocolate quota for the day ;)

Do you not like tomatoes? Do they not agree with you? Peppers would work well.

I can cope with small amounts, only if they have been well cooked. Raw or lightly cooked a definite no. So annoying as every catering establishment puts tomato on salad and lots of other things too.

1 slice whole wheat multiseed bread with thick layers of labneh (strained plain full-fat yogurt, I love it more than butter) and boiled egg.

Yesterday.
B. 2 boiled eggs, 2 bacon.
S. Coffee n cream
L. Veg soup, some smooth brussels pate.
S. Went in the shop for a hair scrunchie and came out with a small dairy milk choc bar....how did that happen!:meh: it was very nice 12g carb!.
D. Chicken breast, curried veg with a curried boiled egg, cauliflower. Skipped the jelly n cream.

Tues:
B egg and bacon, coffee & cream
L crispy bacon strips, chicken slices, coffee & cream
D fried chorizo sausage & bits of ham mixed into mixed salad - chicory leaves, raddichio, lettuce, celery, tomatoes, cucumber - I like it when this slightly warms the salad, more coffee & cream
Snacks - more of the bacon strips & some olives
A pint of PLJ lemon juice & water

I'm experimenting this week to see if only using cream instead of skimmed milk has any effect. I need to get back to the good ways and good BS I had before Christmas. Falling off the wagon then had a big impact and my BS slowly rose through Jan to March. I will get it back down.

B: cheese omelette

L: leftover crustless quiche, fennel tea

D: Quorn balls and mushrooms in spicy tomato sauce, courgette spaghetti, grated manchego cheese

Will have some 85% chocolate and a creamy decaf later.

Weds
B: mushrooms & bacon
L: coffee and cream through day instead
D: roast chicken and salad
Snacks: coffee and cream
And have already noticed BS & scales going down this week, so all good and on track for return to LCHF.

Last nights dinner was absolutely ace , it actually looked like naughty food on the plate but wasn't :)
We had chicken thighs marinated in soy and ginger, not a lot but enough to flavour , with a salad , celeriac chips ( now addicted ) and a pile of coleslaw.

I would like to lose weight and include a lot of vegetarian options. Would appreciate ideas.
