What have you eaten today? (Low carb forum)

I been proper bad ....
Had porridge with cranberries for breakfast
Lunch was ham salad sandwich on wholemeal sealed bread
Then two biscuits ..bourbons
Dinner was prawn noodles and loads of veg
The. Sugger free jelly and vanilla ice cream

The. Two more rich tea.....and going to be make home made popcorn in hour


I know but that s normal for me ...only 3 week ...so don't give me to much ear bashing

B. Bacon sarnie on brown bread. Coffee & a tea.
L. 90g bag of KP peanuts and a small orange.
D. Chicken breast sliced and stir fried with bean sprouts mushrooms and fresh garlic (absolutely amazing.
Total carbs under 100g. Aim to eat about 50g per day but before you realise it you've had unplanned carbs.

How true... :) I love your dinner idea...
 
Hi Rahul... Welcome... I hope you are eating more than that to keep body and soul together... :)
 
Breakfast this morning was 3 rashers of bacon with scrambled eggs on top with a slice of Oopsie bread total carbs 4 and it was delicious! I cooked the bacon and the scrambled egg in the Microwave for the first time, and it worked perfectly I had the recipe and method from a video on YouTube the (original naked chef)
 
A good day.

B: crustless quiche and a Costa coffee with cream

L: a Morrisons DIY salad (picked out with love by Mr B, whose grasp of low carb stops at sweet corn and sweetened 3 bean salad. Bless him). So I bumped it out with mayo and cheese and loved it. Slight spike at 2 hrs. But not a problem.

D: chicken breast with mushrooms, green beans, mushrooms, bacon and mozzarella.

May coyo later.
 
B-home made cereal made with ground nuts and some dry porridge oats and a dessert spoon of flaxseed full fat yogurt.


L-tomatoes,cucumber beetroot.with one slice of Hovis seed sensations with cream cheese on.
D-braised steak and onions,carrots leeks.
berries sugar free jelly and yogurt.
 
B: Greek yoghurt, herring slices, oatcake, apple
L: baked mackerel, onions and red peppers, satsuma
D: left over chicken leg and broccoli

I have a kipper waiting for tomorrow's breakfast.
 
Ready brek (yes I know not good but is was freezing)
1/2 tin of soup
Chicken and salad Greek yogurt
Packet of Skips
But I've just discovered peppers, cucumber and tomatoes are low carb and can be used as snacks
I'm a snacker unfortunately even limiting carbs to 30 to 50 a day has not cured me yet

My favourite snack is hummus. Works well with raw veg, with an oatcake, with salads..
 
B same as yesterday but just 1 egg
L my usual but whole avocado
D small doner & chicken shish combo no pitta, sugar free jelly

Yogurt made with coconut milk. No dairy. Virtually no carbs. Good fat content. Delish! Choc, plain or with mango puree. :hungry:
I need to know more. Where from? Coconut my favourite food.
 
Favourite food after cheese, that is.
 
Just breakfast so far - a flax/psyllium/blueberry/walnut/lemon muffin with coconut oil & a gorgeous BIG black coffee . I tend to have this most mornings so I don't have to start thinking too early :)

The weather is so weird at the mo that its almost impossible to plan meals. Mornings are fine but dinners are tricky - guaranteed if I plan soup it will be unseasonably warm & if I plan salad then a cold front will hit. Might start having a little of both!
