What have you eaten today?

Brekki - 20g oatbran + 15g jumbo porridge oats + 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon + semiskim milk + 1/2 dried fig
Snack - handful of mixed nuts
Lunch - 50g spinach + 1/2 dried fig + 2 dried apricots + handful of pinenuts + 50g houmous + boiled egg + 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
snack - 30g carrot stick and pesto, skin of an apple
dinner - 2 cloves garlic + low-sugar Benecol drink + kipper + 75g mixed salad leaves + homemade cider-vinegar&oliveoil dressing
supper - a slice of cheddar 40g
Numerous cups of tea and coffee during the day with semiskim milk
 
Whereat is all bran with almond milk...small glass orange juice hot water

Snack one digestive biscuit

Lunch carrot homemade soup one bread roll small salad

Supper veggie pasta bake. I will have some fruit later it will be water melon....I need new recipes though and some snack ideas....will keep at it only a few months on new diet and meds....thanks for sharing everyone, what a good idea this question is
 
Breakie: LC porridge

Snack: nuts

Lunch: Roast lamb with everything apart from the carbs

Dinner: Beef and coconut curry with mushroom and tomato curry and cauliflower rice.
 
Hello Kat100. Are you diabetic? Your meals seem to be mostly carb! I'm not being critical: we're all different in how much carb we can take.

Breakfast - bran flakes with a little skimmed milk and a triple espresso

Lunch - 3 rashers of bacon. 2 poached eggs

Dinner - 150gm crunchy salad, 2 Small tomatoes, zero fat light salad dressing, small bowl of chilli con carne (no rice or pasta)

Snacks - 1 apple

Today is a no workout day

lunch - 60g spinach + walnuts + cidervingar&oliveoil dressing + 1/4 tin drained mixed bean salad + sunflower seeds + boiled egg

snack - 5g dry branflakes, 10g goats cheese

dinner - braised beef, peas, carrot, skin from a baked potato that my mrs ate

a glass of dry white wine - yuk, I normally drink red

Funnily enough I was just thinking exactly that very thing - I just found this rather excellent thread and am deeply engrossed.
 
It's been really useful for me, exactly what I wanted!

Today:
B: LC porridge
L: ground almond pancakes
D: roast chicken, roast butternut squash and brocolli
 
Breakfast: Scrambled egg
Strong Italian coffee with unsweetened soya milk

Lunch: poached salmon and asparagus

Dinner: A few black/green olives, some mozzarella cheese and a leafy salad dressed in olive oil and a splash of white wine vinegar.!!!

Breakfast: 2x English muffins (was 3.8 when I woke)

Snacklain yoghurt, 6x cherries, apple

Lunch:green leaves, celery, cherry tomatoes. Strawberries, 1x rice cake

Dinner: roast butternut squash, roast peppers, green leaves, halloumi cheese, pine nuts

Snack: 6xsquares dairy milk and some Pringles! (Junk food craving tonight!)

Nice dinner Gemima!

Glad you like the thread Picci, I've had loads of good ideas from it.

Here's mine:
B: Flax seed muffins from Karen Barnaby's Low Carb Gourmet book
L: Greek salad with chicken
D: Veg and chicken stir fry
 
Breakfast - half a pannini filled with small amount of salad cream, corned beef and mature cheddar. Two cups of tea with single cream.

Lunch - will be salad with tuna mayo and 3 Jacobs savoury crackers. Black coffee with sweetener.

Dinner - not sure yet.
 
B: small bowl of Cheerios, English muffin.
Snack: blackberries, plain yoghurt
L: green leaves, peppers, strawberries pineapple, 1xrice cake
D: quinoa, feta, radish, grilled asparagus, spinach, cucumber

Cornflakes (no sugar) bran flakes and strawberries etc will raise my sugars 8-10 so I inject a similar number of units. Cheerios will plus 20 or more my bg. Very high sugars!

I have the problem with any cereal really, I partially cover when I'm working to intentionally sit higher and fully bolus at weekends...It's the easiest thing in a rush at breakfast and I like cereal :/
