Are any of you guys on Facebook? There are loads of good pages on there for low carbing.

    Bacon and eggs

    Salami and Brie salad

Two low carb bought lemon biscuits and cream. Sooooo lovely!!

    Pesto chicken, spinach, spring onion.

Jelly and cream later....or maybe strawberries!! First in two weeks!!

    2 sausages, 2 bacon a fried egg

Mixed salad with salami and some cheese

Pickled mustard soup with pork pieces
    Nut ball with single cream

Good BG again today, normally don't want to come back home after holiday but I can't wait to have my HbA1C and cholesterol blood test late August / early September, usually I dread the results, hoping to improve on previous test early May :)

Tried to make blueberry muffins...but had a senior moment.
Put muffins into oven, cooking okish, then realised the coconut oil was still in the microwave and left out from the mixture.
Too late, they had started to cook, although hubby offered to pour the oil on the top of them.
Found good use for the coconut oil as hair conditioner instead!!

    Loving life

  13. Grrrrrr! My dinner tonight is rolling his eyes at everyone who has peed me off today...NICE, the majority of the Daily Fail readership....

Ratatouille flavoured with chipotle paste, cheesy cauli mash, extra cheese (dedicated to my cheese denying dietitian o_O) with a quorn chorizo and jalapeño face.

Not been that good past 2 days but my BG has handled it ok.
Yesterday - omelette, sandwich, kebab and chips, ice cream.

Today - cheese omelette, nut ball
Salad with salami, 2 chicken burgers in a white roll ( I know)
Prawn and broccoli stir fry with soy and oyster sauce
BG not gone above 6.8 so reasonably happy with that but don't want to make a habit of it else it will rise.

Breakfast: yoghurt, mix berries and ground flax seed, freshly brewed coffee

Lunch: veggy soup sprinkled with mozzarella cheese, another slice of my black bean chocolate cake with fresh cream

Dinner: STUFFED MY FACE and I feel sick now! Took full advantage of Ramadan here and attended an Iftar buffet, had to try a bit of almost everything... tabouleh, eggplant and rocket salad, lamb kofta, hummus, moutabel, chicken kebabs, beef kebabs, mousakka... I managed to resist the chicken biriyani (sp?) but couldnt resist the desert, finished off with some naughty most definately not low carb Sugary deserts..Umm Ali, and another don't know what it's called crunchy semolina ( I think) cream cheesy bake with syrup!

Forget to take my bloods before eating but did remember to take 2 hrs after...114...not bad, definately better than I expected! Most probably tempered by swimming, squash and cardio vascular workout done today aswell

Avacado is our current 'face' winner I think!! Living your work!

    Bacon and eggs, coffee
Salami and Brie salad - wasn't into it today when it's usually my fave!

Homemade doner kebab wrapped in lettuce. I do love this! My next challenge will be sish kebabs. Yum ;)

I'm about to have a nut ball - first one in TWO weeks!!!
