I do love silver birches. We have a beautiful weeping silver birch in our front garde. We planted it before we found out that I was highly allergic to beech pollen - but I would never get rid of it because it is such a beautiful tree.
Yes @Krystyna23040
The tree pollen is bad, especially worse since the seasons don't know what they are doing, and we have more tree pollen the year round. It is a long pollen season.
I wouldn't get rid of it either!

Morning...a drama filled couple of hours so far today...woke up late had to rush for my anti-coagulant clinic only had half a cup of coffee eek!...got there on time took 20 minutes to find a parking space fudge!...clinic running late b*gger!...then the test results which if you remember has been an absolute nightmare recently...a 2.4 bang in the middle top premium score which gives me three weeks grace between appointments...got home had no time to test earlier so after having eaten nothing for 18 hours rushing around like mad I got a 6.9...it shows the cold cure products are still lingering & stress is a factor...coffee with some double cream Hmm Hmm Hmmmmmmmm.

This lifestyle promises much but has only consistently delivered weight loss, hunger and the feeling that "if that is what I should eat I'd rather not bother having anything."

I feel the same way, except for the weight loss -- wish it were delivering that for me!

Hugs for the hassle, but a big old win for the score

well after my #donuffinday plan yesterday
i ended up going out for meal and drinks with daughter and oldest Nephew last night..
a pleasant evening was had, muchly enjoyed the company of both.

score this AM were a plains loving 5.3.

So pleased to see @gennepher you got Popeye sorted, even if the implant didn't go as smoothly for you.

@karen8967 , thanks for the tip, and you too @Krystyna23040
I have been making my own also. Adding a few drops of tea tree oil to hand cream when I use it and also putting a few drops in water in a little spray bottle that I carry in my handbag so I can spray my hands.

and welcome on board..nice sensible numbers..Like
5.4 this morning on waking. Crept to 7.2 after breakfast but back down to 5.3 a couple of hours later.

Enjoy your day all.

4.1 on waking. Had a glucose tablet along with breakfast, which pushed me up to around 6.8 for the rest of the morning. I should have trusted in my glucose to enlist the Dawn Phenomenon; I probably would have been in the fives without the dextrose. Back to 5.1 an hour after lunch though so not too bad :).

My hand wash post was supposed to be a jibe at our PMs advise, sorry if it came over otherwise, I agree take care especially with other health issues.
Haha jibe at our PM all you like you will get no criticism from me. I have just found a recipe to make my own sanatising gel. Fill required bottle one third with cheap vodka, add 15 drops each lavender oil and tea tree oil, the fill to the top with Aloe Vera gel. Shake to mix and hey presto. Off out to buy vodka and Aloe soon.

good afternoon all :)

4.5 today

was off out early again today because Katy was due her appt. with the groomer. She came back looking far more ladylike, which effect lasted all of two minutes :hilarious: She had a bit of a trim all over and a tidy up around her face and feet. She looks less like a teddy bear and more leggy ;)

Three weeks time and she gets the full works :)

Thank you to all those of you who wished me good luck for my DN review of results.
She was pleased with me and is finally getting used to me mentioning LCHF ;)

3 years and 9 months from diagnosis -

HbA1c - 30 (same as six months ago),
EGFR >90,
Liver function - normal,
Lipids - total cholesterol 4.8 (up a bit), HDL 1.5 /LDL 3.00 / Trigs 0.6 / Ratio 3.2
Weight , the same as last time :D :angelic:

Thank you all again for the advice, good company and support :)

Hope your day is treating you kindly :)

Death rate from Covid-19 by condition. Quite interesting bearing in mind overlap between top 2 conditions https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5953551/

I had a lovely walk in the rain a little while ago on my way home from the grocery store. I had on my old barn rain jacket and I could hear the drops pattering on the hood and on the sleeves, and feel them on my back, but except for my hands I was as dry as unbuttered toast. I had my umbrella, but I was holding it over my shopping cart so my cat food wouldn't get wet.
The rain has stopped now, and the sun is shining through the clouds, but I'm glad I went out earlier, when it was misting, because on the way home it was pouring, and it was fun, including the puddles. :)
