I know their easily offended.I didn't think of the cat @lindisfel he is now offended I didn't portray him as my muse...
@jjraak would like to believe it will get better, but if we return to UK the rules are more draconian than ever, we would not even be allowed to go food shopping or for a walk. With fines if we are caught out of our designated quarantine place. Ofc this may have changed or I might be misinformed.I'd say that was the way we will all go.
I doubt very much most govt could enforce a 2nd national lockdown without serious civil unrest,
and it probably wouldn't make good sense, either.
personally i'd plan for that 'local' eventuality, and possibly more then one, as the numbers roll up and down.
i see it a see-saw.
the lockdown was hard,
the unlock will let the numbers rise, because we just don't know how badly each move will make the situation.
For those with a competent govt.
the next lockdown, (local) should be less harsh on a nation,
the next unlock will cause a slower rise in numbers,
and etc etc..
until we get a vaccine, that works
or a balance that most can live with...imho
Thank you.good afternoon all
was 4.2 this morning
Shopping day again, off out earlyJust the usual. Had lunch then over to mum's with her shopping.
I find it quite tiring I'll admit, I used to like pottering through the shopping but it feels constricted now
I'm going to go into the kitchen shortly and cook a big pack of mince I got on offer and then grind some flax seed and make some LC bready things
Hope your day is treating you well
@Muddy Cyclist - I love your Melpomene, very dynamic and though it's different it's very effective
@Alien Aspie - the hassle searching for the right palette has paid off, A worthy portrait of your musebeautiful fabric and blossom too.
@jjraak - glad to see you
@gennepher - those peacock feathers really came through for you, lovely colours in the background looks like a 'bokeh' of glistening scalesstrong portrait
@dunelm - Very effective, I love the way you have woven kintsugi in by having her shot through with gold too
seeking perfection is indeed a siren song
art bit - not even decided what muse I would portray
and I'm thinking I may need to buy a new round brush, the one I have been using was a very cheap one and it's slowly becoming bald

And a fine sapling of a green man you have created. A good piece of art inspired by childhood memories.Getting these Fbg readings down but slowly. It was 9.1 yesterday after I had the sleep after I posted my muse.
Fbg was 8.9 this morning when I woke up. This is slow to get down after that potato episode the other day.
Okay, this morning's daily painting is a bit of a strange one.
I think it was @Alien Aspie who mentioned Joseph Campbell and Freud in the same post within the last couple of days. I have been watching Joseph Campbell on You Tube awhile now. Most of them are short snippets of information from his talks on mythology and more. I like them being short snippets of information, easy to assimilate.
Anyway, when I was a child, as soon as I could read properly, I began reading fairy stories. I particularly remember Andrew Lang with his Fairy Books, The Blue Fairy Book, and others. Then I went on to reading myths and legends, and still do.
I make up my own stories and myths.
And this painting is one. This is a young Green Man as he is developing....
(I do need to do work on eyes, I need to study them...I make them too big, I always have).

@gennepher - A beautifully eerie green man in salad days. Eyes- they are are about 75% grown by six months so I suppose that they always look a bit big in the young.
A departure from the hillsides for a while but will re-visit. I have friends who are currently in the jaws of black dog - anxiety, depression. I went to visit with one last weekend - for a cuppa and a chat. So, one of the techniques that I picked up for inside my own head is to be silent and to empty my mind - There are words; Mu, Wu, Sunyata, nothing, emptyness - so, can it be illustrated. This one has probably been over thought, still.
Have the most wonderful day that you can have. I shall drink koffy and check out the tyre pressures on my bike.
Thank you, I wasn’t trying to achieve anything but seems that some things have popped out.Good morning everyone from a quiet yet promising start in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of lamb burgers doused in onion gravy with a dollop of cauliflower mass came in at 4.8 this am
Mrs Miggins has decided that she wants to change her Landrover. So, car watch it is. She will oggle the looks, I will take to Which and other seemingly factual sources about reliability, economy and such - but it’s not my car.
@jjraak - nice to see you up and about.
@geefull - thank you - I do appreciate kintsugi and the philosophy of wabi-sabi. We should all embrace our imperfections. Great landscape with your Balding brush - Clair will be impressed. Pleasantly quiet, the path behind the wall awaits.
@lindisfel - great view.
@Krystyna23040 - Great job, enjoy your well earned bit of peace and quiet.

@ianpspurs - yes, it is inch by inch, play by play.
