What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

That is gorgeous

5.2 this morning. Really cold day today.
Did a big catch up with the admin. Should finish the rest on Sunday.
Zoom course was good and it really helped that I cancelled today's classes. The last part of the course is tomorrow.

@ianpspurs yes I have spread myself too thin. I knew I had but thought it would turn out OK. So basically l was saved by the bad weather.

You did really lovely paintings even though you were in pain. Hope the back pain eases soon.

Love your paintings today - especially Popeye.

This painting is beautiful with that ethereal light @Muddy Cyclist

My fbg this morning was 4.7 I am using the libre once again for a while.

My son Brother Ade as he is now called is off to Italy Rome to be exact tomorrow for the several months to do a course so won't see him for a while.

After the course he will be staying at a friary in Italy located up in the mountains for about a month it has been a friary since the 13th century and is one of the oldest in Italy he is so looking forward to that.

These are a couple of pencil drawings he did a short while ago he is far more talented than I.

Such a busy day, with some big changes. After having some help We now have light and beds upstairs. Ok not our bed, we are staying downstairs until bathrooms are fitted up there as well. But a huge move in the right direction.
TV has moved upstairs as well and a couple of comfy chairs. In anticipation of building work downstairs. Cat can't work it out. He has not been allowed in the bedrooms previously, now he is actively encouraged to join us upstairs. But for him if there is a lap available, he is happy.
As expected FBG was high this Morning at 6.7. Two hours after breakfast was 6.5. Still a bit high at lunch time. 6.0. Although a busy day, not highly active, driving, motor mowing, more driving to get an urgent part for electrician. Plastic switches don't do well if dropped on stone stairs.

Really loved this painting. So pleased your back is improving but really sorry that music groups are not exempt from the 6 person rule.

Thank you, I had to paint this one standing up, maybe I should do this more often. Back easing thank you.

Such is life in these strange times. However after this evening meal SIL and I managed to murder many tunes and songs on various instruments, too much red wine, me, and beer, SIL, according to daughter and Mrs MC. Still it was fun.

I nearly always paint standing up @Muddy Cyclist because of backache and shoulder pain. Done this for years. It is so much easier standing up. And the bonus is you have more freedom of arm movement for the brush/pencil stroke. My art group never understood why I stood up, and were forever trying to get me to sit down. Standing up, the drawing/painting has more flow.

Good Morning and 6.2 for me today.

Another bright day here, but more resting for me Mrs MC won't let me get our kitchen Oak floor up until back completely right. Of course she is right in this as always but I have an urge to push on, ignore pain, then pay the price, but won't.

Keep safe.

I always stand for oil, acrylic and Pastel painting and drawing but find watercolours wet on wet a bit more difficult when the paper is upright on an easel.

Just looked out the window and the fields near the house are white with frost.
It reminds one of being young when the frosts seem to start early in autumn in the east midlands.
It has been rather unusual for Sept in recent years to get four nights of frost.

Having a Zoom morning today with Zoom daughter and Zoom church.
At church we get a chance to sing but dont broadcast any flat notes due to a little red slash across our microphones.
It seems strange for those in church with social distancing, masks and having to keep their mouths shut. Some have said in Zoom breakup rooms they prefer zoom.

Is this Cov19 changing everything permanently? In winter the telephone, or zoom or another technology will be be the only means of contact, sitting in the garden is not on.
