What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Thank you, take care.

A fine view of the old man, another chilly painting, Winter Cometh!

Good Morning and a unexplainable 6.6 for me today.

I was going on a Muddy Cycle Ride but it's looking damp and miserable outside so decided to emulsion the one remaining room needing decoration, I know how to celebrate.

Take time for yourself today. Keep safe.

Morning, 6.1 for me and rain predicted.

My plan is to walk to the village green but I admit to being anxious as I haven't done it for a while now.

Happy birthday to @Muddy Cyclist and everyone enjoy their day

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and a special mention of birfday boys, I play 'appy birfday and 64 as part of my warm up routine for my plinky plonky practice, my present to you all is be grateful you didn't hear it.

An unsurprising 7.2 this morning.

Today Mrs J has decreed that I am due a beard trim, something about birds nesting and I am not to keen on twitchers hiding in the bushes trying to spot harriers and hawks etc in my beard.

Doubt it, that's a bone eating bird and Boris does have a long way to go before he looks like a skeleton.
He has lost some weight so fair play there. Just in case anyone felt I may be feeling any love for Johnson (mine obviously ) this is deliciously accurate: But then no European country had a death rate as bad as Britain’s because no other European country put the village idiot in charge . Nick Cohen is an Observer columnist so credit due there (note no other European!)

Be careful they can make mistakes, one on the Scillies thought a cow pat was an American Nighthawk.

Morning...not in bed until 2 am but a whole 7 hours uninterrupted sleep a record for me lately...I think the weekend working took more effort than I realised...I need some energy need to get Charlie ready for his cystitis capsule he has stress induced cystitis he's stressed what about ME...one coffee down another one brewing looking forward to that...woke to a 6.8...keep safe everyone.

No sign of @gennepher yet?

I can't see that's she's logged in today. Hopefully, she is ok.

I managed my walk, two-mile round trip. It took twice as long as my previous because I had 3 stops to drop my pulse rate as my watch was sounding the alarm. However, I did it and I shall do it again

Enjoy your birthday celebrations@Muddy Cyclist.

Thanks each and everyone for your best wishes on this start to a new year, much appreciated.

You know I don't feel 71 'just as old as my tongue and a little older than my teeth' as my old mom used to say.

Picture of cake later, still in oven and Mrs MC not telling me what sort yet.

PS @alf_Josiah what key you in? I'll join you on my Mandolin.

Hi @dunelm Thank you.
Yes, I managed to bring up subtitles in You Tube.
Strange "What colour is the road", because that is exactly the same question I used to ask my eldest daughter when she was just 2 years old. I have no idea why I asked that question of her, except I couldn't hear her unexpectedly talking or chattering away with me being profoundly deaf. But I would lead her into conversations and discussions, so I would then have a clue as to what she was talking about.
Her idea of the colour of the road was different to mine...

I like your painting Old Man of Storr. Icy cold!
