Good morning everyone on this day of anticipation, in the north at least.

The wonder wheel of one pot lemon chicken came in on an umami of 4.9 this am

Pronouncements during todays Two Minute Hate on the fate of the faithless as the cash for covid gang make up even more bewildering rules from The George Orwell Compendium in the style of Loki or perhaps Reynard the Fox.

My mother called last night at 9pm - 10pm where she is - video call - I rushed to answer -
“Oh hello, I didn’t mean to do that. I was just finishing off and my finger pressed the wrong thing and called you. Going to bed now, goodnight.”

Watched some David Hockney outtakes on YouTube after seeing “What colour is the road” here: https://www.theartnewspaper.com/amp/video/the-colour-of-the-road-hockney. I don’t know if there can be subtitles @gennepher ?

Good Morning and a unexplainable 6.6 for me today.

I was going on a Muddy Cycle Ride but it's looking damp and miserable outside so decided to emulsion the one remaining room needing decoration, I know how to celebrate.

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and a special mention of birfday boys, I play 'appy birfday and 64 as part of my warm up routine for my plinky plonky practice, my present to you all is be grateful you didn't hear it.

An unsurprising 7.2 this morning.

Today Mrs J has decreed that I am due a beard trim, something about birds nesting and I am not to keen on twitchers hiding in the bushes trying to spot harriers and hawks etc in my beard.

Morning...not in bed until 2 am but a whole 7 hours uninterrupted sleep a record for me lately...I think the weekend working took more effort than I realised...I need some energy need to get Charlie ready for his cystitis capsule he has stress induced cystitis he's stressed what about ME...one coffee down another one brewing looking forward to that...woke to a 6.8...keep safe everyone.

I managed my walk, two-mile round trip. It took twice as long as my previous because I had 3 stops to drop my pulse rate as my watch was sounding the alarm. However, I did it and I shall do it again

Thank you, Rannoch will be my next watercolour, not sure if I will start Monday though as another year of my life Is being ticked off, 71 and daughter, SIL and youngest grandaughter are joining us for evening meal. Son on Tuesday with eldest grandaughters as Covid rules prevent us all celebrating on the same night.

Yes, I managed to bring up subtitles in You Tube.
Strange "What colour is the road", because that is exactly the same question I used to ask my eldest daughter when she was just 2 years old. I have no idea why I asked that question of her, except I couldn't hear her unexpectedly talking or chattering away with me being profoundly deaf. But I would lead her into conversations and discussions, so I would then have a clue as to what she was talking about.
Her idea of the colour of the road was different to mine...
