What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Our Labradors Archie and Poppy gave Arthur a welcome woof.
He's delighted. Has just stuck his bum and tail in the middle of a video call before bringing me Sally, his toy with bells on.

The joys.

Good morning one and all on this bright sunny day. My fbs at 8.30 am was another 9.3! Off soon for my first Covid vaccination. Received my NHS letter on Saturday afternoon and booked my appointment on line straight away. On Monday I received an invitation text from my GP practice to book my vaccination. I would have preferred to go to my GP but had already booked today's appointment so will stick with that. Mr D had his at the same centre at the week-end and was impressed so should be OK. It will also make it easier for someone else who can't travel to one of the vaccination centres to have theirs at the local GP's. Enjoy the sunshine folks and have a good day.

Hi,
It all will catch up with me tomorrow when I get my bloods taken for the diabetic tests.
I have lost some height now at 1.93 and put some weight on so BMI just under 26 now, but I am sure my family feel better I am not so scraggy.
Bp not too bad for my condition and I recorded several readings per day for last week.
All that's needed now is a urine sample first thing tomorrow.

I am supposed to be telling them how I shall manage my diabetes!
D.

Really good news that the antibodies lasted nearly 10 months and also that you will be shortly getting the Covid vaccine. You did really well to recover from Covid 19 so quickly and without major issues even though you are immune compromised.
Thank you I did the test to to see if I still had antibodies for my own satisfaction. I think it can the luck of the draw as to how much of the infection you get and I considered my self fortunate

That was sad for your friend @Krystan020601
Paperwork trail is always the key.

I agree that it can be the luck of the draw. It might be that you have a strong immune system - which is really good news.

It was so sad for my friend. She is so honest and no way was she defrauding HMRC..

It was a huge wake up call for me because I realised that I did not have a good enough paper trail system so my sister helped me go back over 6 years and now we have a superb water tight system. It is time consuming though.

About your vaccine appointment in another county @dunelm , might it also depend on whether you would like the Oxford or the Pfizer jab, depending what they offer. Although you don't actually get offered a choice, in my case the local health centre only offers the Oxford vaccine, whereas the Rainbow Hospital only offers the Pfizer vaccine. And so when I got a last minute text the night before offering the vaccine, at the Rainbow Hospital, early the next morning, I went like a shot because I knew I would prefer the Pfizer jab.

Thank you for the joint collaboration painting compliment

I like the perspective of your mountainside painting, and all its detail...

Hello @BRSBRI
Welcome to this thread!

7.35am FBG 5.8.
MrSlim received several boxes of chocolates for his birthday. Need I say more?
He is feeling and looking much better, but still tires easily.
Keep/get well and stay safe
That's good @SlimLizzy MrSlim feeling improved a lot.

It is extremely time consuming and frustrating @Krystyna23040
But a paper trail, and not just depending on online stuff alone, has saved my bacon quite a few times.

Thank you @gennepher.
My letter states that I can either book online and go to a mass vaccine centre or await a call from my GP. It’s a standard letter. I am going to wait for a text from my GP surgery.

Thank you for wanting to trample across my watercolour landscape. Get them boots on.

Like your landscape the yellow paper and wash are very effective I need to trudge up that Mountain and explore those peaks.

Welcome and happy virtual travelling.
