Oh poor little worm coming down with Chickenpox. Soothing creams and plenty of water - lollipops to the fore. I have tried CBD and glad that it works for you. It had little effect for me.Hi dunelm sympathy for your back pain I’m well aware of what it’s like to live with having had osteoarthritis since my early 20s I’ve been on lots of different pain medication over the years but because severely allergic to anything with Codeine in it a long time ago. The only pain relief I could have from doctors was Paracetamol which was less than useless major stomach surgery put paid to Oral meds so I was put on Voltorol gel 2.3%, recently it stopped giving relief so after researching online I found CBD OIL it was such a relief to be pain free then I found CBD in a Balm to rub on my back and keep oil for travelling when it flares up . I can’t tell you what a great product it is I use it for my osteoarthritis and soft tissue damage to my knees which physio now believes to be arthritis too. Wonderful things happen with age most not good I went to Holland and Barrett whilst we were in York I use Grass &Co brand get it when the penny sale is on or other offers they do throughout the year you can only give it a try you never know till you do and I sincerely hope it works for you too the part of cannabis that sends you high has all been removed you can read about it on Grass &Co website. Best of Luck K. PS our lovely little great grandson 2nd birthday party is off poor little boy has broken out with Chickenpox so hopefully we can have his party when he’s well.

You might be right @ianpspurs about the 'all nighter' being responsible.Morning/afternoon/? all. Wet, cold and winter here - what's to like? Well, apart from the Assam, shoulder of lamb later for a meal with JKP, 92 yo MIL, No 3 son, 2 grandchildren and plenty of sport on TV? I'll fbg when "they" stop putting me through machines where Swipeys are forbidden. @dunelm thanks for the art and congratulations on the walk. You are a braver man than I for eating out. The gym, acquiring provisions when JKP is incapacitated or delivery isn’t an option and school/nursery drop off/pickup are my compromises. To be fair that suits me very well anyhow except I really want to find a Church in which to really belong again*. @gennepher magical description of the sparrows and thanks for the creative. I wonder if the higher numbers yesterday are linked to "pulling an all nighter" as I have noticed a 24 hr lag in impact on bg and weight.? @Krystyna23040 great fbg and well done on hydration plus #creamgate. I can no longer drink coffee sans cream but 15 mls in 750 mls mug per day doesn't seem hedonistic. Still, what do I know? I only seem to drink water whilst exercising or when abroad. However and wherever you spend your day make it safe and fight the good fight in your own way but extremely carefully. There’s always a dastardly cake waiting to ambush the innocent.
* No female, paragliding C of E vicars about here
I looked at the rooms again this morning and they really don't look as though they need doing.Have a great, relaxing day. I am with you on the decorating front - I never think it needs to be done.
really good fbg.Hello all!
7.30am fbg was 5.2
Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday!
Definitely not hedonistic. I have 7ml in each of my 5 Nespresso a day.I can no longer drink coffee sans cream but 15 mls in 750 mls mug per day doesn't seem hedonistic.
Thank you dunelm I’ve tried to phone but grandson and his wife must be busy with little worm his name is Jax will try later to see how he is. I dare not go round myself has although my children had most of the childrens illnesses and I nursed all of them I have only had German Measles has a child, so pound for a penny I would catch them, a few years ago I came down with Shingles must have been in contact with someone who had Chickenpox but never found out who it was.Oh poor little worm coming down with Chickenpox. Lunch sounds fine to me. A class apart from anything Diet Doctor or Keto have to offer. Anyhow, if you enjoy it and with your track record of managing The D what business of anyone else is it what it sounds like.? I might query Montezumas though. An interesting 4.0 before lunch. Felt quite hungry but didn't get any hypo warnings which is good.
Just had a mixture of whey and chia seed protein powder with a teaspoon of cinnamon powder and a topping of inulin for lunch. It sounds awful but actually I find it delicious.
@gennepher have been "resting" for far too long. Apparently the fatigue and depression that eventually stopped me working in the garden were all part of the liver issues. So months of work to catch up on there, as well as in the house and those curtains still need finishing...Hugs @SlimLizzy
You have had a hard few weeks.
Hopefully you might be able to get a bit of rest now x
Hi dunelm I managed to get through to Jaxs mum last night he’s quite poorly but then find so is his mum she had been in bed when I called feeling very unwell. Hopefully she hasn’t got the adult form of Chickpox which is Shingles they are painful and nasty infection to have, they are having a run of bad luck at the moment but she is a teacher and unfortunately today both parents need to work so Jax has to be in nursery apparently it’s doing the rounds so no surprises that both are unwell.Oh poor little worm coming down with Chickenpox. It sounds like you are doing great. You did a lot of trolling as well.@gennepher have been "resting" for far too long. While in UK I was sleeping or just sitting without energy to read, watch TV or check my phone for days on end. Time I could have spent with family wasted. Plenty of resting going on there.
Feeling better, but still lacking in energy, have two speeds now, slow and dead slow. Am trying to get the basics done every day. But always hope to get a bit more done.
Speaking of mice - last night discovered they have been on my pantry. Enraged to find two bags of expensive fibre flour contaminated, lots of other food had to go as well. MrSlim says he cant keep them out of the walls. I don't care if they are in the walls. Just seal up the cupboards! It sounds like you are doing great. You did a lot of trolling as well. That takes it out on you @SlimLizzy
I know the feeling, the jobs to do list breeds faster than mice...
x

It's an extra job I could do without, floor to ceiling pantry cupoard needs emptying and cleaning. Everything in it will have to be washed. Two other cupboards as well and they have been making messes in the oven. SCREAM!!!!
Hate having mice in the kitchen.
