Good luck at eye clinic .Good morning all on The Feast of St Michael and All Angels or The Holy Archangels Michael, Gabriel and Raphael. I find delving back into our past is often useful for perspective. Here is an old saying associated with today: “Eat a goose on Michaelmas Day, Want not for money all the year”. Could be straight out of an interview with one of the modern fruitcakes. More detail on Michaelmas in the uk here. Angels are from the simplistic ages you say? We have the Laffer curve, the invisible hand of The Market, Trussenomics, 10k steps a day, Gwyneth's Gloop and so much more. Brexit Bonus anyone? Anyhow, wonderful art @dunelm and best wishes for A1c and course correction. @gennepher hug for the after effects of the jabs and sincere thanks for the kaleidoscope. Kissy Kissy rocking Midnight is genius so more thanks. @Annb the meeting for Neil sounds promising so I hope the outcome is what is needed. @nutribolt another completed questionnaire. @Krystyna23040 we bought a PEMF machine for JKP' off the back of your post and some research. Eye screening here today but no goose. We have taken to having one for Martinmas (Nov 11) which falls around Remembrance Sunday. . Lidl usually have excellent frozen geese by then. MIL likes goose, reminds her of times past.
Fantastic results for you @alf_Josiah ...very pleased for you.Good Happy National Bin day Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all Neanderthals that were not not picked for strictly come dancing.
An unsurprising 6.3 for me this morning.
.
Confession is good for the soul, but seeing as I’m not very keen soul music I’m not going to confess. The last few weeks have been full on medically all sorts of tests, biopsies scans etc, yesterday me, me’s and myself got the results and treatment plan. Just continuous 4 monthly blood tests whew. If you are wondering what it was, just think male urinary problems, at least now I can reschedule my hystericalrectonmy. Then I can reapply to strictly come dancing, I’ve polished my hobnail booties with the pompoms on the top, very similar to ones the Greek squaddies wear on fancy occasions.
.
Well today is a fresh start with infinite possibilities for causing chaos and mayhem, let the fun begin.
Oh and stay safe.
Wonderful news from the surgeon and yesterday sounds like a great and very personal way to celebrate for the two of you. Forgot to say congratulations to @alf_Josiah on the outcome of recent medical tests. My eye appointment had to be rescheduled as the pre-infusion bloods for tomorrow hadn't been ordered and no test, no infusion. Bloods now done so I await a telephone consultation tomorrow, about half an hour before we must leave, to give the green light. What larks chums. The attached error? Much safer living out in the country - ya think? Just up the road on a route we take as some other roads are closed just now.Anyone else running into error issues when posting ? (@Adm@1 )
Posted my previous post several times, each time an issue and struggling to re edit post or save .
Was on mobile website droid
jumped on fire tablet, all seems to work on this ..mmhh
And now that too saying errors ..aaagghh

I am still doing the intense sleepy sleepy.....Thanks for the kaleidoscope. My double jab left me very sleepy the next day but after that it was fine.
I've only had it once and I cooked it badly, so it was a bit of a disaster. May try again sometime, if I ever see goose in the butcher's shop.Good luck at eye clinic .
Interesting about the geese (mil , Lidl & otherwise )
Not a meat I've ever had, I don't think ..mmhh
Cheers
She seems to be!Well that explains why Midnight is sitting in your kitchen,
He's heard Kissee Kissee is a swinger ......
Thanks so much Ian.@nutribolt another completed questionnaire.

Hope you soon feel better gennepher.Fbg 7.7
Presumably having both the Covid and flu jab yesterday.
My arm hurts like mad. Just the bit between elbow and shoulder. And I am incredibly sleepy. So I have been sleeping a lot. I had a good long night' sleep, just woke up when I needed more painkillers.
Got all doors and windows wide open. Hoping the fresh air will wake me up. And I have the electric throw on top of me to keep me warm. That will stay on all day if needs be.
Now all I need is cat Midnight to learn how to make cups of tea, and keep me supplied with them...
This video on YouTube was made from Sunday night's escapades on the wild life trail cam.
And also is a short on YouTube of Badger Kissy Kissy rocking cat, Midnight on the swing...
This is also from Sunday night.
I am not up to doing a drawing/painting this morning. I still have this need for sleep. So, a kaleidoscope it is for today. Pointed at my open door into the garden...
I am not ill as such after the Covid jab, but the jabbed arm keeps giving intense waves of pain, and my brain wants to sleep. So, I will go along with that...
MIDNIGHT! Where are you? Where's that cuppa tea?

Not an easy sounding operation @lindisfel ..but liking how you're dealing with it .I saw my eye specialist this am. The eye capsule is rather opaque but the operation was a success. Have to wait three months for the eye to stabilise then I have Laser surgery on the lens capsule.
Can't rush these things, it's unfortunate the first eye surgery was botched at Preston last year.
Going to have to get used to monocular driving by very short runs to garage shop 2 miles away
