What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good morning all from a chilly but beautifully bright, vibrantly blue skied edge of the Larder of England (new, to me, phrase from Look East). Flu jabs day here so we shall see how we react as there are some important events later this week. @dunelm thank you for the art which is developing splendidly. Good idea to pack the travel cafetiere. Enjoy the gym today which hopefully will give some exercises for home use. @gennepher thanks for the video and kaleidoscope which were both much appreciated. @Krystyna23040 enjoy relaxing with that coffee and throw. @alf_Josiah the bind moggles at the idea of you and an electric cycle. Please can you all look down the back of your sofas, in the coin jars and old clothes for the missing £60 billion. Every little helps.

This course only has 60 places per year (5 x 12 per course) and sad to see only 11 of us on this one.
You know it's rich sponsors and other billionaire friends getting the benefits of such attention , right.

It makes sense, why waste things on the needy, when giving it to those who don't need it, means it trickles down to everyone ...hurrah, hurrah.

God bless Liz, and all who operate her

Am missing the your posts button. Sometimes can't remember what has been posted and it's a good way to know where to start reading. Unless it's still here somewhere and I havent found it? This is Kiki sqinting in the sunshine. In most photos she looks white, here you can see her true colours. I don't like collars on cats, but after what happened to Errant I need it to be obvious to anyone who sees her that this is a treasured pet. Of course any day we know Le Chasse is about she will be kept indoors anyway. Today she is starting on the long road to obtaining her passport. Double jabs this afternoon. View attachment 56918
Kiki is adorably beautiful @SlimLizzy

What a lovely kitten Kikki is.

Kiki is adorably beautiful @SlimLizzy
She is irresistible. Plan was to get an adult, male rescue cat after Christmas. But my french teacher sent me a photo and it was an instant Coup de Coeur.
Expensive little animal ! So far am over €100 in vets bills,
1: basic health check: worm and flea treatment.
2: first vaccinations and treatment for ear mites.
Two more vaccinations at monthly intervals needed.

Fog 6.7

Midnight is rarely outside at night now, but at early morning and at supper time, he will be outside patrolling his domain.

This was early morning, around 5 am, about the time he usually goes out at the moment.

Midnight's Snarl

Creative is several double exposures.

Time for a cuppa.

Enjoy your day...

Good morning everyone from another day of Synovial fluid roundup here in the dark and dangerous north. Blood check this morning 5.1 on the finger prick blood letting machine of mystery and imagination. More of the same today - stretching exercised, spinal anatomy, pain flare ups and how to scream with gusto, gym and pool sessions. Art bit - more fiddle faddle. Hope you have a great day, my Ohuhu French Press Vacuum is now ready for the pouring of the koffy.

MrSlims too. She was invited into the salon last night, where she gave her full attention to the first fifteen minutes of a Star Wars film before crashing out entirely. I have never seen a cat actually watch television before.

Morning all from the Exotic East on the day after flu jab 2022 for myself and JKP. No noticeable reaction yet but who knows what lies ahead? Housework, a VIP visit, school run, time with grandchildren including feeding and watering followed by football watching is my plan unless there are enforced U-turns. They are very popular lately but sold as listening. @dunelm your days sound action packed but they seem to be wonderful for your fbg. Thank you for revealing more of that wonderful art and enjoy or if not benefit from your day. @gennepher thanks for both the video and creative. @SlimLizzy interesting scarf and for those who like cats I can see why Kiki would be irresistible. Have the best possible time today safely and with due care and attention for everyone else. Today the more woke C of E are very busy commemorating Wilfrid of Ripon, Bishop, Missionary, 709 [Lesser Festival] Elizabeth Fry, Prison Reformer, 1845 [Commemoration] Edith Cavell, Nurse, 1915 [Commemoration]. Presumably all part of the anti growth coalition but jolly good people one and all.

Yes, some cats do watch tv @SlimLizzy
It used to be in the 'olden' days when tv's were much fatter and a cat could lie on top of it and wot not. Mine would bat the upside tv screen (to them) at any moving object on that screen. Then they would go to sleep (the warmth of those old valve tvs) , and you would watch as the cat slowly slid down the front of the tv screen (totally obliterating your view of the tv), and the cat invariably fell down...
