I managed to auto translate the words of the song to English as they were singing @jjraak !In other news, I'm much more mobile...so when not out walking or exercising, I'm catching up on a 100 little jobs that got put off the last year.
TV in bedroom has or had Google Chromecast & firestick
But as we rarely used it, ( and of course as soon as I was bed bound) it stopped working. Lol.
Not that I was taking much interest in many things ...
But now I'm on the way back its time it started working again.
A jiggle & poke around had it going again.
Chomecast won't connect but Fire stick is good .
(Bonus point Alexa echo recently put in the bedroom, lets me voice control it )
Have Alexa & music in other rooms, but have a playlist on YouTube, some of which aren't in Amazon's library.
So TV up and I get youtube connected to my account on it
Play with list hunting this one song, but get pleasantly surprised by a few forgotten songs on there.
A long way of saying how joyous then sad it made me.
We had sat with russians, Ukrainians, belo- russians, Indians on the beaches of goa, drinking dancing & generally living la Vida loco.
And THIS song best defines the day for me.
Awful to think some of those families are now at war.
Suffering a terrible wasteful loss of life
A song of happier times for us both.
Scene was a group of individuals from nearby bars, who gathered on the beach in front with wines & beers, who began an impromptu party .
Pretty soon a rather large circle of every hue & age had gathered around them.
Happy just drinking & dancing among themselves, those dancing reached out and called many in to join in the dancing.
Didn't matter who were or where we were from.
We happily took part, as did many.
A true one world moment.
(Apologies @gennepher lyrics in Russian..to describe sound, it's a little church like, Gregorian chanting mashed up with a techno/disco beat to my mind
Best enjoyed if chilled out slightly on a few drinks or other substances people use )
Doh...why didn't I think of that ..lolI managed to auto translate the words of the song to English as they were singing @jjraak !
But as for sound, in my cochlear processor, it sounds just one long discordant noise...
I am glad you are so much more mobile and agile, and up to doing odds and ends of stuff that has been waiting for you.
That is such a good idea @AnnbThat's what I use. I am very bad at swallowing pills. They stick in my throat if I take them with a liquid, so - Greek yoghurt - as many pills as possible on one teaspoonful - usually 2 to get them all down.
I also add one or two teaspoons of cream to my coffee and vIsit haven't found it affects my BS either @jjraak .Tricky .. but well done on the yoghurt .
Not a coffe drinker by a long way, so feel free to ignore, but many choose real cream in their coffee
Makes coffee taste nice, and the fat helps make the gap between meals easier/longer.
Don't think I've heard anyone say it raised their BG levels, but worth checking out to be sure ..mmhh
That sounds like superb treatment you are getting. They are really covering everything.Good morning everyone from day four of the pain and pleasure course here in the dark and dangerous north. Yesterday we looked at the anatomy of spines and how pain works (I think we all know that bit!) and how to manage flare ups. Then, joy of joys, an hour of movement therapy in the pool followed by steam room and sauna. We get weekend passes at the end of today and back again on Monday for week two. Art bit - the last of the fiddle faddle. Colour next. Have a marvelous Thursday - you can call it another day if it’s starts going wrong for you. I shall indulge in some koffy.

Oh naughty @gennepher. You definitely have some making up to do today.Fbg 6.6
I have seen this rat a few times. He always checks the swing for (cat) Midnight...
But Ratty never comes out when Midnight is on the swing...
I was out all day today, and when I got home someone was not talking to me.
I had left him on my bed when I went out, but obviously that was not good enough. And when I got back home Midnight was sitting on the swing in the cold rain (he is dry on the swing) when he could've been sitting inside in the nice warmth of my cosy bed. He turned his back to me.
5 hours later, and it was now dark outside, he was still not acknowledging my presence.
Fine, I said to him, I am locking up now. He still ignored me. But as soon as he heard the door shut, and the key in the lock, his face turned in shock. I walked away, came back a few minutes later (he can get back in through the cat flap on the kitchen door to his supper, but you know cats, they command you open a particular door for them), and he was sitting on that door step, looking through the glass, his eyes wide open. Let me in...
I showed my friend yesterday photos of Midnight. She looked in horror at the size of him. That's not a cat, look at the size of him, and the size of those paws on him, and those massive claws...
The claws were fully extended, and he was lying on my legs, from his bum by my feet right up to my chest, and although he was relaxed, his claws were fully out in all their splendour...
I might have some making up to do today...
Cuppa next.
Have a great da
I am obviously not doing very well @Krystyna23040Oh naughty @gennepher. You definitely have some making up to do today.
He reminds me of my old Labrador Saffy. Whenever I went away on a course she would refuse to greet me when I got back home and turn her back on me. This would last at least a couple of days.I am obviously not doing very well @Krystyna23040
he is still turning his back to me....
They can pick up your thoughts @Krystyna23040 . I was used to it with Popeye, but it was something that developed slowly over the years. He reminds me of my old Labrador Saffy. Whenever I went away on a course she would refuse to greet me when I got back home and turn her back on me. This would last at least a couple of days.
Then I read a book written by a scientist who did some research on the telepathic connection between dogs and their owners.
I tried it out and would imagine she was with me on my trips. It was so weird. If I imagined her with me she greeted me with great joy. If I didn't she would turn her back on me.
I used to imagine her sitting next to me on the train, plane or coach or walking beside me. She telepathically visited Australia and walked around Sydney harbour and Iluru. They can pick up your thoughts @Krystyna23040 . Midnight has come a long way in a such a short time, from being a bedraggled scruffy stray, to a well behaved sleek house cat.
Perhaps before I go out tomorrow, I could explain why I have to be out (not that he will understand the actual words), and then show him the car keys. Maybe he could associate that with me disappearing, but that I will also return awhile later ?
I don't know Midnight's past or his fears.
Maybe he is a bit scared he might be unlucky again, and I might abandon him?
You weren't sitting on that chair at the time, were you? If so, I hope you didn't hurt yourself when it collapsed. I don't think that is going to be an easy repair job. At least the cup is still intact.Good late afternoon on this national bin day.
A 6.2 this morning, tomorrow could be higher who knows.
Yesterday here in Tilehurst Towers me, me’s and myself had a slight let down situation accompanied with a cracking sound, I was taking a break from working on some swords, have a little gander at the hopefully attached picture.View attachment 56961
