Oh dear...I hope the mug (for your tea/coffee) survived intact @alf_JosiahGood late afternoon on this national bin day.
A 6.2 this morning, tomorrow could be higher who knows.
Yesterday here in Tilehurst Towers me, me’s and myself had a slight let down situation accompanied with a cracking sound, I was taking a break from working on some swords, have a little gander at the hopefully attached picture.
Now no damage to myself, but getting up proved a real struggle, Mrs J found the whole episode hilarious and has been saying things about my weight. Such cruelty.
Stay safe all, avoid brittle plastic chairs and unsympathetic wives.

That could be nasty for a man on blood thinners or embarrassing going to casualty with a plastic chair leg sticking out their backside.
It’s quite a holistic way of tackling painThat sounds like superb treatment you are getting. They are really covering everything.
Good luck with the CT scan. Will you glow?Went to Freeman hospital at Newcastle but there is still power in my pace maker so they will check the battery again late January.
Was at Carlisle hospital Tues and saw the colo-rectal surgeon. Mr Salem, what a nice guy. He feels I have too many things wrong to have a camera up so will do it with a CT scan and contrast medium plus a small public enema No2.

Poor Foxy Loxy but what a magnificent glass like piece of art.Fbg 6.6
Poor Foxy. He is trying so hard to be friends with Midnight.
There are four other foxes that visit my garden.
This particular fox appears to want to be on friendly terms with Midnight (cat). Midnight has no intention of being friends.
Yet this same fox tries again and again and again...all in one night...
Fox - I want to be friends. Midnight (cat) - I DON'T!
You need the sound on in YouTube to hear Midnight's savage response...
Creative is Foxy Loxy...who would love to be friends with Midnight...

@dunelm, you show us day by day, how you go about the artwork but I still don't know how you achieve such an amazing effect. Pure genius!Good morning everyone on a most pleasant start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. There are stretching exercises to do in a while but they are in a queue - it’s all very British. Week one of the back pain course went well and we resume on Monday. Girl in the bubble here this morning so it’s cafe culture at it’s best. Art bit - colour added so best think about what to do next. Have a fabulous Friday if you can, remember to pace yourself. I shall begin with a koffy.

Mr K is better today but still feels a bit lethargic. Good that he was much more sensible than me and rested after his jab. Mowing lawns would definitely not have been a good idea.I hope Mr K doesn't feel the after effects of the flu jab for long. JKP had a sore arm for a day or two but then she didn't cut lawns the same day as some did. As for cream in coffee, it is my preferred (not quite only) way and seemed to lower my bg almost instantly according to Libre. I tend to break my fast around 11.00 am (I become twitchy if I eat my last meal later than 18.00) with CWC (coffee with cream) usually with a Fattbar cookie or some kind of low carb chocolate.
For me eating something high fat works well but not if I eat it with something high carb. Of course we are all so different and the only way to know if your body is OK with this is to check with your meter.I've noticed a few times that people indicate that eating something with a high fat content with something that might raise BG seems to alleviate the effects of carbohydrates. I hadn't realised that before. I do eat fats as an energy source, but hadn't made the connection with carbs. Have I got that right, or am I misunderstanding what people are saying?
You were really lucky that there was no damage to you. The chair has well and truly disintegrated.Good late afternoon on this national bin day.

Hope you feel a lot better very soon @Annb. There are some really horrid cold viruses going around at the moment.Very cold this morning. Both the weather and me. Alistair had a bad cold a couple of weeks ago but I managed to stay clear of it but Em caught it from him and was here yesterday after school with a really bad, chesty cough. Today, I've got it. Makes already problematic breathing even worse. Also have ringing in mhy ears. That happens occasionally and I usually assume that it is due to high blood pressure, but I was feeling so poorly this morning that I actually checked my BP and it was, for me, not bad. Maybe something to do with lack of oxygen.
Anyway, BG is being a bit strange. Last night BG was 5.5 and dropping so I figured I'd have to have something to stop the drop. For some reason I decided on a couple of squares of milk chocolate from the baking stash. Yuk! Bed just after 10pm - very tired. Awake at 1.45am. Got up for a while (painkillers, tea). BG 14.9. Back to bed until 6.0am. BG 13.4. More painkillers (twice within 4 and a bit hours is not good). More tea at 7.30am. BG 12.5 and falling. This is contrary to the way things have been going recently - probably the cold.
I set the heating thermostat at 14 to make sure it doesn't kick in until it gets pretty cold inside the house. It has kicked in this morning and I am sitting at my desk beside a little convection heater to get some extra heat in the kitchen and wearing a jumper and a heavy, knitted poncho over the top. Could do with wearing gloves as well, but I can't type in gloves. Did I say it is very cold this morning? I might have some tomato soup for breakfast to warm me up.
Glad #chairgate hasn't dented the enthusiasm for a life of mayhem and chaos in one of yourselves. Is that a united cabinet though?Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who are suffering the trials and tribulations of feeling not so good and having to traipse backwards and forwards to various hospitals.
Blood sugars this morning were 6.4.
My picture on yesterday’s post, the broken chair, yes I was sitting in it when it broke, the mug was safe and yes no after effects. Thanks all and I hope you saw the humour in the post.
Now I must depart and cause mayhem and chaos elsewhere, oh and try to loose a bit of weight, I can’t keep breaking chairs.
Stay safe all.
