Thanks @Krystyna23040That is brilliant. Great to hear that Midnight is happy. Hope you feel relaxed and rejuvenated when you wake up.
I am just waking up with a cuppa now...

More hugs for the BG @Annb and hope this banana loaf works out this morning xAnother odd day yesterday. Forgot to eat most of the day (too busy doing family history research) and had a couple of home made turkey sausages around 6 pm. BG makes little sense just now, so didn't bother checking (I'd put the gadget on charge and forgot about it). Of course, when I had my sausages, I also forgot to take insulin. Finally decided to check BG about 8 pm. It was 19.7! Took insulin and it dropped to 10.4 around midnight, when I went to bed.
FBG 7.4 so that's allright. We'll see how it goes today.
I did try to do the baking for the birthday girl last night. The request was for mini sausage rolls (hence the home made sausages), a mini banana loaf and a mini Victoria sandwich. The banana loaf was a total disaster so I'm up and at it this morning making another one. It's in the oven now and I'm hoping for the best because I don't know why the first one went wrong.
So that is what salad days looks likeSince it is super salmon salad day have some salad based satire
Lovely kaleidoscope- I shall be coating Brussels sprouts in chocolate this morning in readiness for Halloween.Fbg 7.1
The badger I call Kissy Kissy is back
If I didn't know better, I would say she misses Midnight.
She is very active in this short clip...
The Badger searching for (cat) Midnight's scent
Creative is a kaleidoscope from the Halloween snail mail letters I am writing to my pen friends this morning...
Bye
Got to dash
Do the visualising for Midnight again...
No time for a cuppa

All the best with banana loaf part II - I suppose banana loaf part I could be used as a pudding with double cream drizzled over.Another odd day yesterday. Banana loaf v2 worked absolutely fine and is now ready to be packed up. V1 could be used toasted or fried and served with bacon, or, I suppose, with cream. But not by me - far too carby for my BG. I'll see if anyone wants to try it. I think the trouble was the shapes of the tins I was asked to use. V2 was done in a square brownie tin and then cut to shape. Trouble is, we have no hens to feed such things to any more. Had to cull all the free ranging birds during the bird flu emergency and never got any more. Beyond me now anyway but maybe Alistair might consider getting new stock. All the best with banana loaf part II - I suppose banana loaf part I could be used as a pudding with double cream drizzled over.
That looks like a very interesting shape you are working on. Really looking forward to seeing what you do with it.Good morning everyone from a mixed day of black clouds and peeping sunshine here in the dark and dangerous north. Fasting jab came in at 4.9 this morning but I was abed by 9.30 pm and only had a late breakfast. Cafe culture is still alive and well and great to see The Girl In The Bubble after her week away. She told us that the airoplane was blue, a significant detail.
Art bit. Not quite sure about this but hope it works out. Have a super Saturday if you can. I have finished my koffy, should I make more?

Kissy Kissy is an unusual badger. The other badgers, 4 more different ones, couldn't care less about cat Midnight, they show no interest in him.Good morning all from a beautifully blue skied East Anglia. Thursday's bloods were fine so I have the green light for today's treatment meaning a trip to the real jewel in the crown of East Anglia. Sorry @Krystyna23040 Cambridge is just much prettier. @dunelm great fbg and your day with TGIB sounds wonderful. Thanks for sharing the latest art and don't be humble-bragging. As always, it will be splendid. @gennepher Kissy Kissy does appear to be searching for Midnight. Thanks for the kaleidoscope. @dogslife good to see you here again and good news that, slow as it is, you are recovering. @Annb congratulations on V2 of banana loaf and hug for missing your own chickens. We miss ours. Be good to yourself and all you meet today.
I hope someone has a bright idea on how to cope with current problems - I wouldn't care to do it as a job, but on the other hand, could even I make a worse job of it?Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen.
Blood sugars this morning were firstly 8.0 and then immediately afterwards 7.5, I shall take the 8.0.
.
Been moving the summer furniture from under the Parthenon to the top shed for winter storage now totally exhausted, an afternoon nap is on order, then it back to the top shed, then if time allows back working on the youngest grandchildren’s swords.
Stay safe all.
I don’t care how much the Tory’s beg me, me’s myself to take on being chancellor of the exchequer, I ain’t interested.
Keep checking your emails, if this keeps on, we'll all get a turn at some point ...I hope someone has a bright idea on how to cope with current problems - I wouldn't care to do it as a job, but on the other hand, could even I make a worse job of it?
Actually, I do agree. I really love Cambridge.Sorry @Krystyna23040 Cambridge is just much prettier.
