What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Well I hope that the changes to your meds works for you and that the pharmacy has everything in hand for you.

Smashing - you are on a roll here. I hope that tonight is not too noisy for you all.

Cumbria has a cool wet day lined up so I shall have to have an easy day. I may just do some inside work and perhaps fill the feeders up outside after getting 25kgs of peanut kernels last week I usually start feeding in September.

Have a good day everyone.
Derek

Good morning everyone and welcome to another au jour de hui here in the cosmopolitan dark and dangerous north. Some folk will be burning effigies of those start struck lovers Liz and Lettuce tonight, let’s hope they do it quietly so as not to disturb her phone which now resides in a safe within a safe inside the Kremlin. Christmas gifts. We use to congregate at the parents at Christmas and mum would write letters to us all (for that was before the 5th coming) and make declarations like, “no present to cost more than £5” (cost adjustments can be made if you are still on triple locked Maundy Money). Doctor phoned yesterday. Kidney and liver function blah blah, “you have a big heart”. - “Why thank you kind sir”. - “NO, not that. Come and see me on Monday, I need to warm my very expensive stethoscope upon thy chest but worry not, people can die of mere imagination”. - very Chaucer!
Art bit - moving along. Have a good day if you can. My koffy is now ready.

Penny for the guy day here is grey and wet so far. They may need some accelerant in Edenbridge to ignite the lettuce. I've never been to their bonfire but I liked Edenbridge and have played rugby and cricket against their teams - we won both. I thought yesterday was a good day but Fitbit suggests some post Paxlovid rebound. Memo to self, be like Mr Asquith and wait and see. @dunelm that phone call was a bit of a curate's egg. Thank you for sharing your developing art and I hope Monday goes well @gennepher hug for Midnight. Presumably more fireworks tonight but he seems a very sensible cat. Thanks for the splendid leaves in today's creative. @Krystyna23040 good news on minimal side effects but make sure to take any breaks you can. @Annb I hope Alistair and yourself can have a day celebrating his birthday. @lindisfel sad story of the cat but you must have plenty of residual strength if you can still haul 25kgs peanuts about. The old Fen Boys and Girls would have collapsed with laughter at those limits. Plenty of sport to watch today but some conflict in my mind about how the need to win, the profit motive, dubious ownership/sponsorship, broadcast rights and concussion damage to the athletes in modern sport squares with Philippians 4:8. Have a spiffing day but be careful. Genn, I hope you can get a transcript.

FBG 7.4 and now 9.5 after 2 cups of tea and pills.

Alistair's birthday today but he's working so there will be a special dinner for him when he gets home. He usually makes the dinner but today he won't have to. I think DIL and Em are making a cake for him but he's not bothered about birthdays really. He does enjoy making and decorating novelty cakes, but not specially eating them. That comes from the little business I used to run making novelty cakes - he really enjoyed the modelling elements and was a super help then, and never got tired of it. Em shows signs of going the same way.

No I have to transfer them to several old feed bags to take them up to the shed where I keep my birdfeed in metal dustbins to stop the rodents.
We fortunately are well above the river flood level and my shed is on top of a small drumlin so I have to walk up hill.
37 fractions of radiotherapy and three years of hormone therapy knackered me for life, but it was better than the alternative and I am still here nearly twenty years later, thanks to Newcastle.

Best wishes for Monday

Omg...how horrible.
Poor lady.

My biggest fear when starting the car is our Marley (or others) is underneath asleep .

A lazy rev & pull off, listening for any "squeals" is common.

What a horrible experience she had.

Next to REPORT below left of post
3 small dots
Includes edit & delete
Is that on a phone? Attached is what shows on my Chromebook - no dots unless I'm failing to see what is clear to other people but I do get edit and delete. No platform and cancel culture again. This forum has gone all woke. Snowflakes in charge. Next thing you know we'll all be doxed.
