Morning all.
A merry little 6.5 this morning.
A gloomy day in wait in the Capital today.
Off for my diabetes check up at midday, fasted as I prefer that method....so we'll see what joys 10 months of poor mobility & pain meds has bequeathed me.
Not expecting good scores, but fully expect to be convincing myself "its not THAT bad, considering...."
On a more positive note, my recycling of the little E-Bike & investment is paying me back for my leap of faith.
Was in need of a little TLC, and so far not the money pit, it could have become.
A small cost of £15 to fix the part I couldn't, and since then ..not a dime
Unsure of just what specs I SHOULD be expecting from it.
Rather confusing on t'internet just how far I can go for battery only & how far plus pedalling I can expect ?
So far preliminary test runs show in excess of 25 miles per charge.
While battery is assisting heavily in my pedalling, Maybe more as even on red, still pulling at lower gears.
And nephew interested in one now, so checking the power cost it was 35p to charge from previous state (red) to fully charged....
Even battered as I am I still got it to 22 mph, but the average speed was 12 mph pedalling with very little effort....WIN.
Not quite the 180 mph the 900 offers, but I'll gratefully take it for now.
And a small glitch I had put down to the repair (electrical) was the charging light on battery (one red, 2 green) only illuminated the one red one green....until last night's charging.
Now Red AND both greens fully lit up...
Keen to see what difference that makes to mileage / mph.
Yes, it's a fair cop
I confess....
