What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good news in abundance there, @lindisfel .

Improving for your good lady & the vision of a hawk.

Suggest male flies, stay clear

Inconvenient the trips, but at least you've mastered the route AND short cuts .

Best wishes for results .
Dermatologist wants her to stop using the steroid ointment due to thinning skin and just use a skin moisturiser.
Go back in three months.

Went to Georges Plaice on way back home, it saves cooking a meal and washing up!

Nighttime TrailCam - Cat Jade's quiet night disturbed by 2 Foxes (male and female I am assuming)

Creative is using ZenBrush3
Another abstract type fluid painting.
And Midnight and Jade are lurking within...

Stuff to do now, so a quick nap first.

Have your best day.

Yeh! Psychedelic cat

Good morning everyone on the silence that is always louder just before the cavalcade of the bin lorry here in the dark and dangerous north. Sad about Jeff Beck - Hi ho silver lining - RIP. Yesterday was looking at cars (Mrs Miggins’ idea of a good morning out) - I slipped off to TK Max, took loads of drugs and was mobbed by models as the word got out - oops! Getting confused now about reality so best just do a U-turn on that one. Phone call with my GP at 9 this morning, well, ten to. I must be dead popular at the practice. Off early in the morning - a long weekend in Scotland so may or may not post depending upon current population of flying haggis, quality of ski slopes and what bargains can be grabbed on distillery tours (a bit like chateaux tours in France - taste it on the tour and then buy at a local shop). Art bit - cobbles to Thursday. Have the best day that you can. My koffy is now brewed.

FBG (4 am) 12.9. 13.4 by 7 am. Just making my breakfast - which may end up being the only meal today - it often does but this is a bit earlier than usual because my cleaner phoned last night and said she would come this morning. So beds to be made, dishes to be washed and floors to be cleared in good time.

Not the best way to start the day and hope that your cleaner is zipping around quite soon.

Those colours are echoed in our sky this morning - very pink on the horizon, a layer of almost navy blue cloud and almost white shading to deep blue before we reach the heavier night time clouds overhead - still with that odd blueish hint in them. No yellows yet, but maybe when the sun comes up ...

Edit: 2 typos had to be fixed.

Sky is brighter now and the yellow has appeared amongst the pink.

Gets me moving though. Moving semi blind because I can hardly keep my eyes open - that's why I am usually a slow starter in the morning, I have to literally prise my eyes open with my fingers. Dry eyes apparently.

Edit: software changed my spelling of prise to pries - I don't even know what that is. I've changed it back again. Oh, of course, it's part of the verb to pry.

A win for the meal.

Suspect that's a 50/50 for milady.

Thinning skin..BUT back to just moisturising .

Not sure I like the word steroid in anything I have to use regularly.

Steroid ointments do seem to cause skin to thin so their use has to be limited. My nephew had very bad eczema as a baby and was treated for many months with a steroid ointment. I don't think his skin has ever recovered over all these years despite use of non-steroid creams. Of course, it was many years ago and treatments have been improved, but the warning is still there. Just as well to stop using it. I'm sure steroids have their uses, but they do have side effects.

All MrSlims fault, bringing me chocolate marshmallows just before bedtime. He knows I have little, or no willpower at the moment. Maybe not all his fault. I just have to remember to say N
I have had exactly the same problem since Christmas @SlimLizzy. Mr K has now got strict instructions not to offer me any naughty treats as my willpower has been zero lately.

5.6 this morning. Blood sugars are now going back to normal for me. I was a little bit worried (no - very worried) that I wouldn't get back to normal for me blood sugars - even though I have now got back on the 'straight and narrow '.

Still just about morning so snuck in before the bell. Serum bg at 10.50 yesterday from half an armful was 5.1 after 2x 750 mls tea with h/m almond milk - basically white water, Seems I may have a rudimentary grasp of this LC lingo but I will never go native. Anyhow, T2 is more like a journeyman dobber who I can easily milk for runs and stay in, with common sense. The Big C hurls the 90+ mph thunbderbolts that will get you in the end however good yer technique. I'm still in for now and a raft of numbers suggest nothing bad from my bloods so on we go. @gennepher thanks for the bright creative. I saw a kingfisher but to be honest I didn't look hard for cats initially, sorry. Went back and saw both. @dunelm thanks for sharing the development of your artwork - sturdy and reassuring. Not you the artwork. Loving the cobbles in the art, not good for me to walk along these days. Good that the Drs have taken a shine to you. What colour will the Tesla be? Enjoy Scotland, just don't fall in on those visits - take you years to drink your way out. @Krystyna23040 enjoy those Christmas treats your bg will be fine. I never believed those who said how horrible previously beloved treats now tasted until now. Not too sweet, just a hideous aftertaste in general. One exception is the single After Eight I tried - well worth the 5.8/9 carbs for me. We'll run some pheasant breast with red wine and Crème fraîche sauce up the flagpole later and see who salutes. Take care because the best our govt aspire to offer is (very) minimal to no levels of service, with a scowl and threat of jail: except for he's one of our own, he's one of our own, you know who, he's one of our own.
