I am doing the upping my amitriptyline dosage today. I had to during the night as well. I am trying to avoid taking painkillers, I just want to avoid taking them if I can. But if I run out of the amitriptyline, then it will be onto the painkillers. My feet are doing the, we wish to be amputated dance today...
Is it all this wet weather or what? I'm disappointed my feet are hurting so much, especially as I am getting my blood sugar levels at a constant level most of the day without doing the rises they were doing at one time...

I am calling this a sparrow, but actually might be the little Dunnock that lives in my garden.

This is the best painting I can do for my Creative, it started in ZenBrush3, but I had to move it over to Procreate for a bit of help with brushstrokes. I know I can do better. But it's the best I can do today.
I am way behind today. It's now midday and I need to go and cook my breakfast.
I did feed the wildlife gang earlier while it was still dark. Everything had been eaten in the night, including Midnight's buffet bar in the kitchen, all the dishes had been licked completely clean. They had all queued up outside the catflap to get in, so I think even the wildlife are having problems with this wet weather. Midnight has another buffet bar in my bedroom, so he's alright if he needs a midnight snack.

Nan London is downstairs and picking at Papa John's from last night. @Krystyna23040 and @Annb thanks for the concern over MIL. Lots of work for JKP but a care home costs the price of an average UK house every two years or sooner for "patchy" care. (Mrs Caldicot's cabbage war) The next issue with NL will be over a trip to Wales. Son and kids off to buy/try a bike but keen to be here for the lamb tomorrow. @gennepher thanks for the creative which looks splendid to me. There is just one more Accentor regular in Northern Europe the Alpine Accentor. I saw them in Austria near the bottom of the Gross Glockner glacier where they breed.. Sometimes they visit the UK, but rarely, usually in winter.

To be clear: Kiki is still getting the same amount of food, it's only her mealtimes that are changing. This way might be possible to get a twice daily visit. But nobody is going to want to do three or four visits. Especially if the weather is foul. Today strong wind and torrential rain. Yuk. Son1 who was on a walking/camping holiday on the welsh borders has had to abandon it because there is so much flooding. Personally I would never want to go camping in January. Enoy the lamb tomorrow - even more so because it was 20% off - that will make it taste even better. I hope JKP can manage the extra work - MIL's care and security will be far superior to that available in a care home. It isn't easy - our family has had a fair bit of experience of caring for elderly relatives - but it is so much better than a care home, and cheaper. Me too! We didn't go camping as children but my husband was fond of going out for a few days with the boys (so I went too). To me it's just plain inconvenient. Why make things harder than they need to be? The boys used to look forward to camping trips though. Neil doesn't do anything so frivolous now, but Alistair and DIL take the family on camping weekends when the weather suits.I am really impressed that your Son1 loves winter camping.
