The mystery of the night stalker - perhaps a figure 4 box trap attached to a camera? Lovely creative.Fbg 7.1
The tech savvy nighttime cat biscuit (and tray as well ) stealer has struck again. And doesn't appear on my trail camera. The cat tray of food is there one minute, and in less than a blink of an eye, it is gone.
My daughter is coming to stay next month, and she'll be sleeping in the next room. I don't think she'll be happy with half the countryside coming into the bungalow at night.
I need to change something...
Wildlife cameras.
Two very short (much less than a minute clips) on the Magpie in daytime.
Magpie on the Swing - Whereabouts are those darn cats? (32 secs)
Magpie - Is that a camera? Is this my best side? (15 secs)
Creative was complicated to create.
Original photo was of my blueberry flowers from a month ago (the bush is full of berries now).
Then I tried to do a painting of it.
Failed miserably. But saved all the different versions.
Tried the original photo through various photo apps.
Failed miserably because none got the essence of that blueberry flower.
Tried using double exposure feature in Snapseed, putting double exposure over double exposure of all these different versions, and altering the settings for each double exposure.
Still failed.
Then I had the idea of photographing my bedroom light above me (yes I am in bed, it is the middle of the night, and I am not sleeping), and tried it as a double exposure. Didn't work well, so I saved the original photo of all the double exposures, put the photo of the light on first, and then the other double exposures on top.
And here is the finished product.
Unusually for me, I am pleased with what I managed to create.
Because it had the essence of what I wanted, and I was finally tired enough to go to sleep....
Have your best day.
A cuppa is next, and maybe a quick nap (to give me some energy....)
I got sunburn yesterday despite being covered, only face and hands showing, and they had loads of sun cream. And I was wearing my wide brimmed sun hat hat!

Oh now it’s guess the Hans Zimmer music - Kung Fu Panda? Rain Man? Batman Begins - so many to think about, I may run out of Kofee.Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all variations on a theme……..of Paganini. Bet you thought I’d gone all woke.
Blood sugars this morning were 5.1 I didn’t say thank you to the devious meter.
Busy old day so far and will be for the rest of the day, we have the grandchildren for the day, me me’s and myself have a plinky plonky lesson later today, Mrs J who is up and about has PLANs, my plinky plonky lesson will be a safe time. I Should be finishing off a bit of Hans Zimmer and moving on to a little Wagner, Ride of the Valkyries.
Now the indoor rain cabinet is calling, plinky plonky practice, breakfast and medication, no not all at once thankfully.
Stay safe all
The construction is beginning to remind me of a Hebridean broch. Not anything like it really - too many openings, but the shape is similar.Good morning everyone from another day of overcast sky here in the dark and dangerous north. A reading of 5.2 this morning does not reflect what we had for early dinner with some of the grandchildren. Mrs Miggins has already left the building. Off to have a CT scan - what fun! Just set up our 30 year old Vita-Mix to make a batch of cauliflower and broccoli rice. The latest model has a pulse function but flicking the on/off switch is cheaper. That squirrel has been back at the bird feeder over the road - must let my neighbours know about that. Art bit - finished the detailing. There was not much left to do. The sun is having a good go at breaking through. Have a smashing day if you can. More Koffee needed.

Ah, but @Krystyna23040 your Pilates is a useful financial exercise. So it's a reason to avoid housework, not an excuse. Whereas my greenhouse cost €€€s and has so far supplied six portions of mangetout and one runner bean...I don't have a greenhouse but I do find that teaching Pilates does give me a really good excuse to avoid house work.
Ah yes but just a small section of Oysterbay Castle. The construction is beginning to remind me of a Hebridean broch. Not anything like it really - too many openings, but the shape is similar.
I have some images of the broch at Carloway but the file is too large to be uploaded. They can be seen at:

Thank you @ianpspurs - the scan is just a routine thing, as these things go.Morning all from a sunny north Wales on the morning after a splendid gathering of Welsh and English relatives of MILK/JKP. For reasons best known to themselves I have an open invitation to the local community owned pub where I will always be welcome. The 2 poorly girls are recovering but will take today slowly. We are off to collect a waterproof backpack with pockets for drinks bottles after #coffeewreckedtablegate. @gennepher those videos are amazingly clear and have lovely colours. That creative is stunning and the description of the process is remarkable. @dunelm I hope Mrs Miggins' scan goes well and thanks for the creative which does look very like the broch @Annb linked. Have your own kind of wonderful Wednesday.
Actually, the most important thing is that we both really enjoy what we are doing not the financial cost or gain.Ah, but @Krystyna23040 your Pilates is a useful financial exercise. Unlike Texas, everything here is smaller - dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, traditional houses, crofts and so on.Ah yes but just a small section of Oysterbay Castle.
The Broch on Mousa Shetland is a good example of being well preserved and it has up to 400 pairs of Storm Petrels nesting in it creating strange noises at night when they come to their nests.Ah yes but just a small section of Oysterbay Castle.
These birds reached notoriety because their vocalisations sounded like "a Fairy being sick!".The Broch on Mousa Shetland is a good example of being well preserved and it has up to 400 pairs of Storm Petrels nesting in it creating strange noises at night when they come to their nests.
D.
When we visited my sister who at that time lived in Texas, we went to San Antonio to visit The Alamo - it’s very small and dwarfed by the city that has now sprung up around it.Unlike Texas, everything here is smaller - dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, traditional houses, crofts and so on.
The Rio Grande wasn't much of a river, much smaller than a fen drain! When we visited my sister who at that time lived in Texas, we went to San Antonio to visit The Alamo - it’s very small and dwarfed by the city that has now sprung up around it.
You mean you want me to create another Heath Robinson contraption? The mystery of the night stalker - perhaps a figure 4 box trap attached to a camera? Lovely creative.
