All going Pete tong...don’t do politics, religion or woke, but I must comment Boris the Beast is now history
Can’t help with this as I don’t keep records any more.Good early evening all.
I have noticed over quite a long time that temperature stress affects my blood sugars raising them in high temperatures and dropping them in cold conditions causing hypo’s.
Now am I alone or do others have the same issues?
Ah. Not a watermill then. Quite a substantial ruin though.Good morning everyone for a quick in and out this morning before I head off on my travels. Just need to pack water in the car. Art bit - are we nearly there? Have a smashing Sunday if you can. Best finish my koffy.

Oh dear, @Annb so sorry to hear that..hope it eases swiftly.2.15 am 5.8. 6.30 am 9.5.
Feeling pretty grotty this morning. Don't know why - it's just a cold. Very dozy though (couldn't stay in bed very long and had to get up so that I could breathe properly) and having to drink lots to try to ease my throat a bit.
efcharistó para poli.Morning all from a sunny L.A. where the weather girl says it will be scorchio - for which read no socks needed. .JKP still sub par but improving - well health wise st least. @dunelm safe journey and have a good time if the purpose of the journey fits. Thanks for the art. @Annb hug for the impact of the cold. @jjraak efcharistó for that post. God moves in mysterious ways. This story sequeys neatly from your experiences of God's grace into this - in my addled mind anyhow. The older couple remind me of one close to me (my parents actually) and the Joni Mitchell lyrics (attached) I quoted in my eulogy. for them. Since it is summer for the next few days one simply must bless one's aural orifices with sound nectar (club card is vaguely illegal according to the fake new meeeeja - how you 'doin Alf?). Be good, hydrate well, wear a wide brimmed hat and slip, slop, slap. seek, slide
Really good news that your blood sugars were 8.2 after breakfast.Good morning all. Yesterday before breakfast my fbs was a whopping 16.2.This morning after starting my new medication , Forxiga, with yesterday's breakfast ( in addition to my existing 3 diabetes meds throughout the day and stopping my Gabapentin for the past 2 evenings ) my fbs was 8.8!
After taking my second dose of my Forxiga along with Gliclizide after today's breakfast I was concerned I might have a hypo so tested again 3 hours after breakfast----8.2! Early days and still anxious about side effects but feeling more positive than I have since July '21 when my sugars started their upward trend.
Enjoy your weekend and look after those pets if affected by thunderstorms.

Yes, you really should speak to your doctor - it can't be doing you any good to be feeling rough most of the time and I'm pretty sure that having these digestive problems will do harm one way or another. Surely there must be an alternative. There areother anticoagulants on the market.Been having trouble with my meds since H/A in April. The second anti coagulant is causing me serious stomach and bowel problems and I am feeling rough most of the day.
Will have to speak to the doctor, I can't manage this for the six months it's scheduled. Two months now is more than enough it's slowing down any progress.
