Although I 100% stayed low carb while I was away my fbg has been affected by eating main meals in evening instead of lunch time and also eating more than I usually do. Fbg 7.7 this morning. It will probably take a few days to get back into the 6s again. Finally again, after that chicken upset my readings for a few days.
That is really good news. You look after the wildlife so well @gennepher.One of 'my' foxes has mange.
Spent the last hour researching.
Found an organisation who will send treatment for free, so that will arrive in next few days.
Also found a wildlife place which has a preventative treatment, a supplement foxes need to help stop mange, so I bought some of that to help as well.
Timing of meals really does make a heck of a difference @Krystyna23040Although I 100% stayed low carb while I was away my fbg has been affected by eating main meals in evening instead of lunch time and also eating more than I usually do. Fbg 7.7 this morning. It will probably take a few days to get back into the 6s again.
Thanks Ian...Good morning one and all from L.A. where summer is gradually winding down. Swipey wanted today's fbg to be 5.1 but what it was in reality is entirely different. Minted lamb ribs with salad yesterday evening were more pleasing to the taste buds (and much cheaper) than leg of lamb, lowered bg after 2 hrs and made one significantly cheerier than Borthwick's motley crew. @Lamont D Angeball seems likely to last longer than I thought but Dear Mr Levy could be given the benefit of the doubt if so - very mixed blessings. Right now I and many others would offer to drive Richarlison back to you for free. Barn doors/cows backsides and banjos come to mind. @dunelm thanks for the art. I hope the intrepid make their climb today. @gennepher thanks for sharing that very atmospheric creative and thanks on behalf of the fox (es) for the love you show. @Annb good news that today should be a more restful one - have plenty of sits and (power) naps in a comfy chair. And finally -.... graceless, nasty, self serving resignation letter sums up for me how this skip fire started. Anyhoo bring on a super Sunday - and its live.
Thank you very much for the painting compliment @Krystyna23040
Yes, you are really lucky to find them @gennepher.Thank you very much for the painting compliment @Krystyna23040
I am lucky to find somewhere that will give me some support aneds for the foxes. I do my best...
I've seen ZOE's videos on YouTube and some of their research is very good!Since we in UK are on the verge of 8 to 9 months where the temptation is to morph into biped hamster cheeked semi-hibernation where any joy is welcomethis may be an interesting read. Of course, what is a healthy snack isn't something the scientific/medical community agree on. Even if they did affordability and availability vary and other factors may have been far more important. Mixed nuts - no, not you ??? - and berries anyone?
That railway goes to Blaenau Festiniog if I remember correctly, where slate was mined.Well it is NOT a super Sunday in Lamontia! A lot of thunder and lightning, a storm that caught everyone by surprise, and it's continuous this morning, temperature early doors was only 6 degrees!!!! Still in August! Now a balmy 12 degrees with a dampness that you only get in November and windy and rainy and very cloudy! Winter jim jams on! Heating on to keep the power companies happy! Never know, we could have a hosepipe ban in September!I
Back is sore again this morning, no idea why, but not much to do now, as chores and only bits of cooking to do mainly in the microwave from the freezer!
I forgot about the railway from the slate mines to is it Portmadoc @dunelm? Quite picturesque trip down.
As for Richarlison, @ianpspurs he needs a lot of confidence and that means scoring anyhow, any way! Bluenoses are going down this year due to many financial irregularities and the dodgy connections to a certain corrupt part of the world! No not the London laundromat!
Have visited your old ground but have not yet been while to visit the newby! We did spend an hour , with a soft drink in your founding public house! Which for some reason was very informative and friendly! However the game was very one sided! Watford on the box and that is one of the friendliest clubs I have been to. And I like their current home kit design.I
Gotta go, have a prospective pre Monday day!
Best wishes as always!
Correct mate! That railway goes to Blaenau Festiniog if I remember correctly, where slate was mined.
I have never been to the big pumped storage hydro scheme, I bet that is interesting engineering.
D.
If you can pronounce that place with a long name on Anglesey your one up on me.Correct mate!
Lots of visits to North Wales, hydro plant is amazing!
As is the natural beauty of Snowdonia and the coastline. The bridges on Menai Strait. Onto Anglesey, where my ancestors were from as far back as we can track. And for some reason my Welsh surname comes from that area. Around Llanfairpg!I I can't speak the lingo but I'm not bad at pronouncing it!
Personal favourite area is around the river Conwy, Aberconwy, the valley up to Llandudno, Conwy castle.
Don't forgot Portmerion, The Prisoner, is still trying to get away!
Barmouth beach is great for kids, or it was the last time we went!
And obviously avoid Wrexham, now they are back in the league!!!!!
So much to see!
Thank you @gennepherI like this river leading through the painting @dunelm
It opens it up....
There is the Snowdon train and the train round the lake. Don’t know any others, sorry.Well it is NOT a super Sunday in Lamontia!
