Thanks @ianpspursMorning all from a cold but dry and bright LA where there was no frost or iced up windscreens. Fbg unknown.Gennepher and Dunelm thanks for sharing your wonderful creations, Fascinating nutrition links/discussion (did my required reading and then some) which I can’t help seeing as very similar to reading about bloodlines, course and distance, jockey and trainer data before enriching a bookie by betting the farm. Substitute the food/pharmaceutical industry for Bet 365, Unilever etc and eerily similar IMHO. Also striking how at the end of the papers there is always the caveat that essentially they don't actually know - basically just have"strong suspicions." needing more investigation (and research money). Graveyards and hospitals are full of the outcome from previous generations of research and learned papers. Meanwhile, those like my MIL, with a Golden Ticket, smile and wave. However, credit where credit is due, Lord Big Dave had it right when he said just because you can’t do everything doesn’t mean you do nothing. @Annb great fbg - on the LBD principle? In other news, the people of Iowa leave me despairing for personkind. Pip Pip Old Toots.
I ordered the oil - it will take another 10 days to come, but I think there's enough left in the tank to last us. Also sent in my electric meter reading - not as bad as I had thought it might be, so that's good. Neil managed to lock himself into the shower room yesterday and had to use a pair of scissors to prise the lock apart and get himself out. That means a new lock has to be put on the door. If he'd called, I could have taken the lock apart from the outside with no damage but he's a man and won't ask for help. That's something for the next shopping list. I suppose the reason it jammed was because it was worn anyway - but the lock is ony the age of this house (48 years) and I would have expected it to last longer than that. Perhaps that's being too optimistic. Certainly the lock on the back external door is faulty and it is much younger being part of a replacement door about 25 years ago. It can only be opened from the inside so, should you accidentally allow the door to shut behind you, you have to go all the way round the house to get in at the front. Increases security at least - nobody could get in that way without being invited.5.5 at 0415 today. Up to 6.0 after a while but staying there for the moment. Cleaner coming today, but not til the afternoon so I have time for breakfast. Doing that shortly.
Snow still laying, which is unusual for us. Most years the snow lays but is gone overnight. There has been an occasional spectacular heavy snowfall though and this year may be one of them. Still pretty cold out there and no sign of a gritter so I hope the main roads are not too bad. The school is just up the road from here and I think it is still operating today although schools on the mainland are closed. Not sure if the post will be able to deliver though. I think I should probably order some more oil.

Fox jumps up on swing
There was a lot of other activity this night with cats and badger. But as soon as Cat Jade left, the fox jumped up on the empty swing...

Snow here.
But it will be a couple of days before I process the SD cards to see what was about this snowy night...
The steep hill has not been gritted yet, at least not at 6am, I went out to peek...woe betide the expressway traffic using this shortcut today...a few meetings with walls, trees, front gardens?
Creative...something a little warm...started in Procreate and finished in SketchClub app...
Have your best day.
Time for a cuppa and a nap...been awake since 3.30 am...

That is really confusing @ianpspurs.Just to confuse matters of which Omega is the goody or baddy even more along comes this. Yours, confused.com Is there a Breatharianism section on here? - may not have many longtime members if there is though.

Send three and four pence, we’re going to advance. It’s a pooled analysis of 20 cohort studies (mainly observational) so just some spurious number crunching. Study interpretation published in The Lancet says we are all OK, nothing to see. Here’s the rub, in the USA and now growing in our burgh, there is a growing increase in N-6 PUFA (omega-6) due to so called ‘food’ which is causing health problems. So, run around like headless chickens squabbling over research grants. Meantime, I agree with you your eminence although ‘still it moves’ Galileo.Just to confuse matters of which Omega is the goody or baddy even more along comes this. Whatever they tell you, do not put Redex in your tank. Can't help thinking it's all connected with motorbikes, @ianpspurs
I'll admit the proof is sketchy at best, but those dinosaurs didn't ride em...and look how that worked out.

It will all be cleared up now, we can sleep easy. Super brain Lee Anderson needs a new challenge so he'll surely soon be on the case. The country can't waste its top brains, he's bound to be recruited. Report may be a tad sweary butSend three and four pence, we’re going to advance. Just woke up already had 5 hours sleep. Family here having a blitz on our computer gear yesterday. Marjorie and I were exhausted last night and will have an easy day today, I hope.
