What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Thanks @ianpspurs

I ordered the oil - it will take another 10 days to come, but I think there's enough left in the tank to last us. Also sent in my electric meter reading - not as bad as I had thought it might be, so that's good. Neil managed to lock himself into the shower room yesterday and had to use a pair of scissors to prise the lock apart and get himself out. That means a new lock has to be put on the door. If he'd called, I could have taken the lock apart from the outside with no damage but he's a man and won't ask for help. That's something for the next shopping list. I suppose the reason it jammed was because it was worn anyway - but the lock is ony the age of this house (48 years) and I would have expected it to last longer than that. Perhaps that's being too optimistic. Certainly the lock on the back external door is faulty and it is much younger being part of a replacement door about 25 years ago. It can only be opened from the inside so, should you accidentally allow the door to shut behind you, you have to go all the way round the house to get in at the front. Increases security at least - nobody could get in that way without being invited.

Thanks @ianpspurs

There is replica of your beautiful blossom, just up the road.
it is quite stunning in spring.
as is yours @gennepher

6.9 this absolutely stunning snow show.
It is at least a few inches deep on the garden and footie pitches out back.
It is still cold nearing the afternoon, but no wind and weak sunlight. Schools are open, as they should be.
Hopefully the grandkids enjoy this occurrence of snowman making and snowball throwing and sledding.
Hopefully, snowmegeddon is shortlived.
Had the shovel and prepared salt for the paths and to the shed.
Mrs L asked where the turkey was she put in the fridge?
Mrs L asked if the grandkids would be around cos its half term, and if she needs to go out and get a Valentine's card.
Welcome to our conversations.

One thing I have found that, is the body produces millions of different bacteria, enzymes, cells, combinations of hormones, secretions, and lots more. And the boffins are still nowhere near sorting it all out, and why we have so many endocrine conditions that don't have a particular reason or prevention of a treatment. Including a cure.
They just don't know!

Sky is full of snow, and it's going to get icy tonight.
Boots are on, shops been to cos Mrs L has had a thirst for it, instead of a cuppa. And we would have run out. Being a 20mph road, the heavy vehicles have cleared the snow, along with the gritters. The roads are passable and thawing, I think we will have black ice tonight.
The last time a BMW tried to take out a lamppost.

Keep warm and safe. Baby, it's cold outside!

Best wishes to you all as always!

Just to confuse matters of which Omega is the goody or baddy even more along comes this. Yours, confused.com Is there a Breatharianism section on here? - may not have many longtime members if there is though.
Can't help thinking it's all connected with motorbikes, @ianpspurs

I'll admit the proof is sketchy at best, but those dinosaurs didn't ride em...and look how that worked out.

Send three and four pence, we’re going to advance. It’s a pooled analysis of 20 cohort studies (mainly observational) so just some spurious number crunching. Study interpretation published in The Lancet says we are all OK, nothing to see. Here’s the rub, in the USA and now growing in our burgh, there is a growing increase in N-6 PUFA (omega-6) due to so called ‘food’ which is causing health problems. So, run around like headless chickens squabbling over research grants. Meantime, I agree with you your eminence although ‘still it moves’ Galileo.

It will all be cleared up now, we can sleep easy. Super brain Lee Anderson needs a new challenge so he'll surely soon be on the case. The country can't waste its top brains, he's bound to be recruited. Report may be a tad sweary but honest and down to earth.

EXCESS DEATHS. a big cover up?
There has been c. 5% excess deaths in the UK for four years. Why? it is across the age range and is due to heart trouble. Causation not known and no apparent compensation in opposite direction.
John Cambell highlights MP speaking to MPs on this subject.
Why is this being hushed up by the media?
