Fbg 6.1

I woke at 2.30 am!
Makes for an amazing Fbg for me!
Back in bed.
Might as well post and then have a nap...
4:10 am now...

Wildlife nighttime camera
Cat Jade catches her supper - watch the eyes on the ground
15sec
I did slow this video down to 2/3rds or else the action would have been too quick to see...

Creative...some warmth I hope for you...begun in Procreate and finished in Sketch Club app...

Eyes are closing...need to catch up on sleep...

Have your best day...

Loverly waterfall. How do you get the water flowing in the right direction?

Good morning everyone on a wonderfully quiet start to pre bin day here in the dark and dangerous north. A bit of an up and down night and reflected in the 6.2 reading which was bouncing along the 6 line most of the night. Wonder if it’s the pain meds - I shall settle on that and stop thinking about it. Art bit, murmuration. Hope you have a good day. Koffy is now needed followed by a lot of standing up and wandering about to assuage my awkward back.

fascinating artwork but nice.

EXCESS DEATHS. a big cover up?
There has been c. 5% excess deaths in the UK for four years. Why? it is across the age range and is due to heart trouble. Causation not known and no apparent compensation in opposite direction.
John Cambell highlights MP speaking to MPs on this subject.
Why is this being hushed up by the media?

I have a working theory!
Firstly the average dying age has reduced in the last decade.
The health system is in permanent crisis.
The social care service is as well.
The waiting times, lack of treatment.
A lot of the older population not seeking health prevention. Or going the doctors through the pandemic, can't get appointments, can't getdentistry, a knock on effect. Bed blocking.
Shortages of staff, equipment, the technology, capacity and Ambulance, and staff for them.
The lack of new hospital build.
It all adds up.

Feel free to read or ignore this. As for the media - predominantly owned or manipulated by the wealthy - a cynic could speculate that any mention of the austerity, Brexit, mix and be dammed COVID lifestyle and leaders they agitated for is anathema so don't hold your breath for that discussion. Of course, it is also Youtube so the pink Himalayan may come in handy.

It is still minus one in my garden, it is icy, even though the snow has receded to the margins.
Sunny but icy wind,
7.0 this morning, no bin emptying today, window cleaner been. Shopping done, chores done and redone after an accident in the kitchen, not me this time. Mrs L tried to be useful, but unfortunately, failed. I think I expected it. But it doesn't help, does it?
Still not able to do stuff outside. Need my sun badly.
Have to go.
Oops, Mrs L is trying to go!

My best wishes to you all as always!

Morning seal team 2

Lurking in the hated 8's undergrowth.
Picking off carbs as & when they appear.

Slightly pinned down at the moment, but my team is trying hard to outflank and break through the sneaky enemy.

Morale & team performance is good,

So personally despite going rogue (according to some) and fighting back against the Carb Alliance, I feel sharper, fitter mentally & physically , I think.

Gonna be a long campaign, but so far happy with the loss of a few pounds and an 8.1 this morning.

Worrying tweet thread, maybe of interest for those not aware this is happening.

"Is there a PA onboard ? ..... :wideyed: "

PA - is that a thing and different from a Personal Assistant - Asking on behalf of the “Overrun by Americanisms Society”.

Morning all from L.A. on No Day: no iced up cars, no snow, no school closures and no known fbg. Bitterly cold and more dull than of late here. @dunelm hug for the back pain and thanks for sharing the art. I hope you enjoyed the coffee. @gennepher thanks for alerting me to the eyes in the video - nature isn't as benign and cuddly as romantics would have one believe. Thanks for sharing the creative. Being odd I don't see that as warm but I do see it as calming - I do really like the red. @Annb great fbg, hug for the infection and Neil's mystery. As for the higher carb, some Keto champions take breaks citing potential liver harm - shock horror - others say it prevents exactly that :banghead: . I sleep better and am a nicer, kinder little boy with some more carby days.- say. 40 gms. @jjraak top work soldier. @lindisfel take it easy in them there shops way up there beyond the Ice Wall - them Ice Walkers are dangerous. Y'all stay warm now, ya hear?
Thank you @ianpspurs

It was customary, when I was teaching, to call some of our students' chosen profession "Personal Assistant" - aka PA. Some of the other lecturers and their students rather looked down on ours and used the term PA in a pejorative fashion. When I was younger, of course, the term was Secretary or Personal Secretary. Many businesses would not have run so smoothly without those PAs so they had their justification and satisfaction. Not so sure about Physician Associates though. Is that an unqualified doctor? If so, not for me, I think. That used to be called a Quack.

What with Physician Associates and Nurse Practitioners, I think we are going wrong somewhere along the line. I'm biased, of course. It was a mistake by a Nurse Practitioner that ultimately led to my husband's death in 2017. He was probably glad to be shot of this life, but that's not the point.

Not sure if you are on twitter @Annb ...

But the link expands and explains how that will likely be the situation come tomorrow.

As for the level, I did read a part where neurosurgery I think was taken part in.

And the "qualified" part is dubious.
Yes, a year or two of training.
But as qualified as a doctor having under gone 5 years + of training..... nope.

There was a job title.
but I could never find out what they did?
A facilitator!
It's one of those new-fangled jobs that never needed to be done in my younger days - using experience to guide groups of people through a learning or team building process. Not a teacher, not a tradesman with an apprentice, not a foreman but someone who gets on with people and knows how to persuade them to get on with each other. Perhaps some of our political parties could use a facilitator. It's all part of modern commerce and industry. :arghh::arghh::arghh:

I was a team leader who taught team leaders, team leardership, team building and all the other fancy foreign particularly Japanese names for ergs of ergonomics. The one we used was Andon.
A facilitator in our works was an errand boy for a senior manager, particularly the plant manager.
Because the plant manager thought it beneath himself to do his own errands!

What is a co-coordinator?

£35k per year

or up to £70k if given a grander title - searched under equality-diversity coordinator

Probably the errand boy called himself a PA - or would these days.
