Thank you for sharing that amazing creative which is stunning despite all the difficulty in the process. Not sure - actually absolutely certain - leaping into the unknown with free abandon is not for me but as the saying goes, you do you: which you do perfectly. One body, many members. @Annb excellent news on the slow but palpable recovery. Unfortunately as Joni says we can't return we can only look behind from where we came. @JohnEGreen you sound more positive today and good news on Ade, Keiran - very topical with the Olympic cycling - and his mum.Fbg 6.8

Problem yesterday meant my black ink hand painting did not work.
I had five canvas boards.
I was going to do some black Chinese in painting on them using my hands.
Problem.
It was 29° C.
And so the black Chinese ink dried on my hands in the nanosecond it took me to transfer my hand to the canvas board.
Tried every which way....
I did do some stuff on the canvas boards, but it is not finished and not what I had intended to do.
I did manage to do some paintings in my sketchbook with the black ink on my hand.
Next problem was trying to get the ink off my hands because it had been on it for so long, in that heat, as I was painting for quite awhile with my hands.
When I was a child, I used to have those delicate black or white lace gloves. Do you remember them? I could do with a black pair now.....
And so, my creative is one of the paintings I did in my sketchbook with the black ink hand painting, and also with the blue shop towel I was using to mop everything up. I was getting painted everywhere, and I turned that into a painting implement because there was so much ink on it.....
Waste not want not...
It was thunderstorms and rain, but now the sun has come out and I am going out there to paint again, I enjoyed yesterday afternoon even though every painting and idea I had was a mistake, I could see ways of using it and having fun with it, but it is not what I intended to do. I should never have an intention when painting because it never works out and always goes badly wrong. It only works (usually)/when I just leap onto the blank page with free abandon....
Now, have your best day.
Leap into the unknown with free abandon...go into and with the flow...

Ask Em if she knows who Plan B is. According to the comments below the video he is a massively under appreciated genius. I'll leave it with you but judging by the Eurovision, BGT and X Factor winners (not to mention Guns n RosesAfraid I'm none the wiser.
I forgot about the lorry cavalcade this morning... @dunelm what am I going to do when it is every 3 weeks?Good morning everyone on a splendid start to the day listening the rain bouncing of the parched earth and the faint cheering of plants. 5.8 this a.m. and just under 7 miles yesterday. Down on the beach by 0930 yesterday and had what we had suspected was the best of the day for beach lounging before it clouded over just before noon. It will be plan B today - just as soon as plan B has been formulated. Art bit - tree sketch of course. May the bin lorry cavalcade continue to be present for you, I need to finish slurping koffy before the requests from tiny people start coming in.
I had to laugh at that as my daughter thinks he is a genius too and yet I have a liking for Post Malone completely out of my music taste, daughter thinks I am nuts lolAsk Em if she knows who Plan B is. According to the comments below the video he is a massively under appreciated genius. I'll leave it with you but judging by the Eurovision, BGT and X Factor winners (not to mention Guns n Roses) he definitely qualifies.
Once again, busy day, cos of the intense pressure to get things sorted, I used my persuasive skills for Mrs L to hide in bed today. Mind you, I had nearly completed my daily chores, and I needed some me time to finish the decorating and start to get things straight again.Too hot again...28C ...going back to sleep until the day cools off...neighbours appear to concur about being too hot. They have all front doors and windows open...
