Fbg 4.9 this morning.
Had rain here this morning thunder storm warning in effect we will see we hardly ever get the promised thunder storm.
Adrian has returned to Ards has the room there he had before said it feels like coming home.
Keiran has just realized the advantages his firms health care plan affords him and plans to make the most of it.
He was advised that maybe some other form of exorcise other than the weight lifting might be useful so has bought himself a bike to ride we have plenty of cycle tracks around here so his Mum has bought one also that should be a sight for sore eyes she hasn't ridden a bike in years.

Problem yesterday meant my black ink hand painting did not work.
I had five canvas boards.
I was going to do some black Chinese in painting on them using my hands.
Problem.
It was 29° C.
And so the black Chinese ink dried on my hands in the nanosecond it took me to transfer my hand to the canvas board.
Tried every which way....
I did do some stuff on the canvas boards, but it is not finished and not what I had intended to do.
I did manage to do some paintings in my sketchbook with the black ink on my hand.

Next problem was trying to get the ink off my hands because it had been on it for so long, in that heat, as I was painting for quite awhile with my hands.

When I was a child, I used to have those delicate black or white lace gloves. Do you remember them? I could do with a black pair now.....

And so, my creative is one of the paintings I did in my sketchbook with the black ink hand painting, and also with the blue shop towel I was using to mop everything up. I was getting painted everywhere, and I turned that into a painting implement because there was so much ink on it.....

Waste not want not...

It was thunderstorms and rain, but now the sun has come out and I am going out there to paint again, I enjoyed yesterday afternoon even though every painting and idea I had was a mistake, I could see ways of using it and having fun with it, but it is not what I intended to do. I should never have an intention when painting because it never works out and always goes badly wrong. It only works (usually)/when I just leap onto the blank page with free abandon....

Now, have your best day.
Leap into the unknown with free abandon...go into and with the flow...

Thank you for sharing that amazing creative which is stunning despite all the difficulty in the process. Not sure - actually absolutely certain - leaping into the unknown with free abandon is not for me but as the saying goes, you do you: which you do perfectly. One body, many members. @Annb excellent news on the slow but palpable recovery. Unfortunately as Joni says we can't return we can only look behind from where we came. @JohnEGreen you sound more positive today and good news on Ade, Keiran - very topical with the Olympic cycling - and his mum.

Thank you very much @ianpspurs for the compliments...

Made it there and back. Nurse was a bit put out when she saw my legs and feet but I'm all swathed in bandages again and hoping for at least some reduction by next week. Full of puncture holes as usual but in the end it took 2 nurses to hold the needle in place on my knuckle and get enough blood to satisfy the vampire's needs. All patched up with plasters to accessorise the bandages. The nurse who was supposed to be dealing with me told me she would make sure not to be working on the next day blood was called for. :D

Good morning everyone on a splendid start to the day listening the rain bouncing of the parched earth and the faint cheering of plants. 5.8 this a.m. and just under 7 miles yesterday. Down on the beach by 0930 yesterday and had what we had suspected was the best of the day for beach lounging before it clouded over just before noon. It will be plan B today - just as soon as plan B has been formulated. Art bit - tree sketch of course. May the bin lorry cavalcade continue to be present for you, I need to finish slurping koffy before the requests from tiny people start coming in.
I forgot about the lorry cavalcade this morning... @dunelm what am I going to do when it is every 3 weeks?
Great trees...

Ask Em if she knows who Plan B is. According to the comments below the video he is a massively under appreciated genius. I'll leave it with you but judging by the Eurovision, BGT and X Factor winners (not to mention Guns n Roses :D ) he definitely qualifies.
I had to laugh at that as my daughter thinks he is a genius too and yet I have a liking for Post Malone completely out of my music taste, daughter thinks I am nuts lol

Too hot again...28C ...going back to sleep until the day cools off...neighbours appear to concur about being too hot. They have all front doors and windows open...
Once again, busy day, cos of the intense pressure to get things sorted, I used my persuasive skills for Mrs L to hide in bed today. Mind you, I had nearly completed my daily chores, and I needed some me time to finish the decorating and start to get things straight again.
Which I'm chuffed to say I have done.

Yes, it is intense heat today. My thermometer is boiling away at 27degrees. But there is no t much wind to cool the garden sun trap, Rain overnight not much. But didn't hear no thunder. Beautiful blue sky. Or the Greek used to say Bronze.........!!

Gonna sit with Mrs L in the shade after tiffin. Haddock tonight.

When I went upstairs with a cuppa earlier, Mrs L asked what I was doing?
I replied, not much.
Take it easy, Mrs L said. But don't be sitting in the sun all day!
No dear, it's too hot!
I did have my decorating shorts and t-shirt on with smears of a shade of light blue!
Its funny whilst I was glossing the mantelpiece, fire surround, Mrs L hasn't noticed it being so white!!!!

I do hope you are all ok, and thanks for the support and really kind words. Hopefully, I might get more time to go through the thread tomorrow.

My bestest wishes and hugs for th the lot of you as always.
Stay safe, stay warm.

Have to add my sincere condolences to the families in Southport.
It is truly shocking what has happened.
I cannot imagine the heartbreak.

My eldest and family have taken a teddy bear and flowers over.

In Merseyside, we don't want the politics of the right wing. We have a total tory/fascist free zone of MP's.
And we don't need the thugs coming here to disturb the peace that the families and residents require.
Our mayor has even publicly condoned the right and warned the ref.... Not to come here.
You are not wanted!
I totally agree.
