Thank you for your thoughts on the programme. I am really interested on your further thoughts on what he ignored just to make his point.Initial thoughts were he rushed the ending because it didn't suit his thesis and he ignored a herd of elephants in the room just to make his point
Thank you Ian...there was no way I could check it. !!! So tired...Good morning everyone from a dull and chill start to Advent Sunday and @winterofficial.com (obviously now on Bluesky since X is to be shunned) here in L.A. Worry ye not bargain hunters, Black Friday will seque seamlessly into cyber Monday: not sure what cyber Monday has to do with the clothing companies offering me their discounted wares but I'm gormless so its me not you. @gennepher your post was admirably lucid and I am thankful to you for sharing the video and creative. @Krystyna23040 I watched the programme on UPFs and have some thoughts but I need to re-watch the start, especially his explanation of that graph of the rise in obesity rates, to be properly fair to him. Initial thoughts were he rushed the ending because it didn't suit his thesis and he ignored a herd of elephants in the room just to make his point. @JohnEGreen I'm sure the Blade runner reference was excellent, sadly totally wasted on me as were all attempts to get me to sing in tune or make music. Anyhow, have a song which, for me, has as many layers as I need in this weather but the video is joyous and the voices are melodious. Lyrics for anyone interested. I obviously have a woke/virtue signalling/low carb (nutritionals attached) Advent calendar: haters gonna hate, be my guest, knock yerselves out. Have yourselves a Merry Little Sunday, well perhaps not Fulham FC and supporters.
I wasn't sure, I thought I was rambling a bit @Krystyna23040I do hope that foxy loxy and the badger family do visit again @gennepher. Your post made perfect sense.
More so than an instruction I gave to class members. There was a gasp of horror when I said - 'on hands and knees - make sure that wrists are directly below hip joints and knees directly below shoulder joints'. At least it proved that they were listening to my instructions.
I love the colours in the kaleidoscope
The question is were they Christmas socks? Stop moaning, enjoy your 3rd childhood and get those decs done as the brains of the family suggests.Good Afternoon Ladies and Gentlemen. It is now day 3 of Mrs J’s Christmas decorations erection. It is the turn of the lounge to be festooned with a tree, lights and baubles.
I am being to think about crowd funding to finance our soon to be extravagant LED electricity bill.
Hopefully today will be the end.

Tears in rain
Thank you @gennepherA stunning painting @dunelm
YepShades of blade runner maybe.
Thank you for sharing another wonderful red roof art piece, an insight into the mind of TGIB and your rather poor effort to appear Grinch like. I think I was awake for a few seconds once when something entitled the Grinch was on my TV but I can't swear it is suitable for the point I was making. Just wanted to be down wiv the kids.Good afternoon everyone on a rain on, rain off sort of day in the now sunny yet still dark and dangerous north. 5.4 this am and the morning was mainly taken up with discussions about a replacement spoon with The Girl In The Bubble. Important stuff I know and far more important to a 5 year old than What Greg Said and then What Greg Said Next. Christmas decorations have percolated snail like from attic to adjacent room for “sorting” - it’s what they do at The North Pole I am told - must be true as I have seen it happen in a Disney Documentary. An advent lump of wood with numbers on has been gaily placed on a surface. It has a sliding marker on so now we do know what day it is - spoils all the fun of guessing really! Art bit - red roof. Enjoy the remains of the day - it’s a decent film. Afternoon koffy? Are you mental???
cos of the footie rivalry, nowt else, but the devs stadium will do!Why do you hope Wrexham is on fire? Actually it was in the Chester direction. .

I think these watercolour paintings, your Art bits are amazing @dunelmGood morning everyone from a wonderfully quiet and still dark start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.2 this am and already a mug of tea has been consumed. Not sure what happened yesterday. The Girl In The Bubble was handed back to parents and then we met up with eldest son for a late breakfast. Mrs Miggins was tidying up the front garden (a pretext for sticking some outdoor lights onto a tree). And then - well suddenly the day had gone and all I seemed to have done is hang out some washing, fill the coal scuttle, bring in some logs and make a batch of soup. I did get a couple of chapters of my current book read and obtain a suitable and approved spoon from daughter to replace the well worn one here favoured by a picky 5 year old. Art bit - it just keeps appearing. May your second day of advent lead to another great prize behind the door - mine are opened by the ghost of Micheal Miles. I simply must go and make some koffy. Note to self - buy more koffy, it’s the last bag.
