Thank you - feeling a lot better this morning and had a really good nights sleep.A winner star for the reading and a hug for feeling so ill hope u are better this morning
@OldButBold your post so interesting there are just so many mysteries. I think if you are ill or under the weather the odd deviation off the path is allowed. I enjoyed reading about the buttery crumpets more than Popeye’s mouse TMI for me
must go - crumpets to source - and then guiltily chuck in the bin - where did that come from?
@DJC & @jjraak Thankfully has definitely gone for good and am feeling a lot better this morning. Drinking lots of water has definitely helped the headache.Sounds horrible Krystyna glad you rallied later in the day, not surprised about the headache though, you must have lost a lot of fluid. Whatever caused it, I hope it’s gone for good.
You have waited patiently to feel better so Bravo! Take care.I changed my dietary lifestyle dramatically when I was diagnosed, removed all sugars and 80% of my carbs. Apart from dropping my blood sugars in a little over a week I have seen no other benefits. Now I just try for 'happy'
Just back from the docs, walked there so my lungs must be getting better. He wants to see me again next week but at least I'm off the drugs
Thank you - I think it must have been a virus and you are right, there are some odd viruses around.@Krystyna23040 sorry omitted from my earlier post but sorry you were so poorly and very glad you are now better. There are some very odd viruses around. Take care.
My best vehicle was a 4.2 litre Nissan Patrol, I did 700,000 miles in it and only ever replaced some wheel bearings and one half shaft. It never missed a beat even though driven down ravines, rivers, took part in the Malaysian Rain Forest Challenge and Australian Outback Challenge, it was still running when I sold it to a Russian for more than I purchased it for, apparently the engines are like hens teeth in Russia, amazing engineering.
@gennepher hugs for the sleeping issues but apart from that I loved your post today Popeye is a wonder of nature. Hope you have a disgracefully fabulous day today.
@HarryBeau I’m so excited for you can’t wait to see photos of the little ones.
@OldButBold a really interesting post. I don’t think any of us will ever become experts in this, but at @ianpspurs says n=1 is the only thing we can talk about reliably.
@dogslife -the window cleaner embarrassment has happened to me too - hope you wear pjs to bed!
@PenguinMum so glad you’re back in the zone now.
Oops nearly forgot - I had 5.7 this morning which is fine by me.

I wanted to rate this three times. Win for you, Win for Popeye, Hug for the mouse.
(i spotted a suzuki jimny yesterday that to my eye succeeded way better then JEEP did with that style of design.)
Agree on the food front, i too cut back drastically, yet, the wonders of the bodies mechanisms don't always run true to form..
i wonder if internally a version of world events...... Hong kong, barcelona, the french yellow jackets, spring to mind, IS the norm, as we battle back against this insidious disease..
not withstanding the fact, we are still very much prone to the illnesses mere mortal sustain here on earth,
So how on earth any process, could be linear when the intricacies of our daily lives/input must be a constant crash of food +drug+illness meteors hitting our bodies immune system..best we can hope for is to hold our nerve, guide ourselves as best we can, and hope to keep an even keel, after every storm.
This is the car I drive for Miss Daisy. To be honest, it is awesome, a beautiful little car that I would never have looked at in my own life.
Me - "Your body is made up of billions of cells, mostly bacteria with a few viruses, that's the 'meat and potato' of what we are. Who we are is a different thing, so let's just look at the 'what'.
Do you pay attention to those billions of lives? I mean, they spend their entire existence making sure You exist, and the only time you notice them is when it goes wrong when it threatens You.
Do you think they pray, or maybe beg for forgiveness, or mercy?
Humans think they are the same, but we are multiverses existing side by side, each one of us a god creator to the billions of lives within. Each cell 'made in our image', after all, every cell contains the DNA blueprint to create a whole You"
I'll cut it short there, but you get the gist
Edit to say the body has around 37 TRILLION cells
4.6 today. New sensor started. Not missing the finger pricking!
Anyway pottering around ticking some things of my list of things today. Pitstop in sainsburys for cheese n
Mushroom omelette. Yummy.
For info. Diabetes.org wanting remission success stories. For me it's been low carb healthy fat all the way. Something they dont advocate. Opposite for them, high carb low fat. Results should be very interesting.
