Debs how could you do that to us...that sounds like an orgy of feasting I have had pretty much the same experiences/results with my BG after taking copious amounts of Lemsip Max Beehams Cough & Cold Cure & Jakemanns Throat & Chest Lozenges...am I bitter/envious...yes of course particularly about the chicken & chorizo kebab ( I'd kill for one right now).

Is whipping cream a common thing in supermarkets..?
google says..Double cream is the British term for heavy or whipping cream in the United States, but it is a little thicker than our whipping cream. It contains about 48% butterfat...confewzed

HAD a diabetic review today (first in 13 months)
last one was cancelled, nurse went sick ..

Just got a text, saying today's has been cancelled as well...

FBG 6.4 ..picked up my steph late last night, dropped her off home.( )
( she's doing well, so i shouldn't worry too much.)

BUT i did feel peckish after, only had one meal yesterday The Non muffin muffin..

so caution to the wind, got some spicy chicken wings..( ok 10..)
scoffed and had an ice pole to boot...(yes, i know. )
so only myself to blame...

out today to meet my niece for a late lunch i think.
so looking forward to that.

My bins (Leafy Bin Garden and Blimy Bin Laden) out at the crack of dawn to stand in homage to the lesser god Steamy Bin Waggon and for the ceremony of the lift and drop. This is the last day this year for Leafy Bin Garden. It will now hibernate until the spring as it is part bear and part tortoise (not to be confused with part bare and part porpoise).
 
I think I forgot to post my fbs. 5.2 this morning and then 4.4 before dinner.

All the stuff came today for my new broadband. Tomorrow we will be switched over to the new provider - sometime before 12pm. Hopefully all will go smoothly.
 
I've just started reading a novel that mentions a couple who have abandoned London for the wilds of Surrey having 'swapped urban amenities for rural bliss.' Interesting timing for reading this book!

good afternoon all

was 4.6 this morning

thankfully not so cold today
We've been doing a couple of small jobs in the house today though we have been out for a walk

Started shortening a pair of curtains earlier which is a bit of a job since they are lined. I admit I have a list of small jobs I had good intentions on getting done before now but which have ended up waiting for darker nights/colder weather to get done

Hope your day is treating you well
 

Sorry to hear about your family problem, I wonder if that’s what triggered the nightmare? Not surprising your fbg was a bit higher than normal, especially after your hectic weekend. I hope things resolve themselves soon.
