Today after Muddy Cycle ride Mrs MC wanted to visit a winter garden at Dorothy Clive Gardens Staffordshire. The scents were heady, colours amazing, here am I amongst the Corpus.

Your walk sounds lovely but very cold. Still - you look well wrapped up.
 
good evening all :)

4.4 this morning

it's been pretty cold and windy outside here with sleet showers today so the furthest we've been is to the shops to stock up on essentials and to get something to have for dinner at mum's tomorrow.
We're planning a mild chicken curry (mum isn't keen on anything too spicy though mr gee and I prefer a bit more oomph :hilarious: ).

I've got a LC fruit sponge ( lemon and chopped cranberry),for my pudding to have with full fat yoghurt and mr gee and his mum will have a caramel and cream mousse ;)

He did say that perhaps his weekly Friday evening trip to the bar at our local social club with his two friends that he has been doing for 40 years is probably the only thing that keeps him sane.

My doggies are Archie who is chocolate mixed with quite a lot of grey and Poppy who is jet black and very shiny - she matches my car perfectly although they both prefer Mr K's car - a Jaguar. Much more their style.

Love the painting...dark clouds and looks cold, and wet. A moody evocative painting...

Thx @PenguinMum. I'm delighted with the 6st loss and the hundreds of units of insulin daily I no longer need to inject. (Only 6units of treble strength of basal and only corrective bolus now). I try to be strong as my family rely on me. My operation was a success as the main reason for me was weight loss and better/easier diabetes control. :) :) :)
I too pop in to ensure everyone's worries are supported within my restraints. ;)

I'm glad to see you here and doing so well. I remember you from one of the first threads I Watched here with I first joined, the up-all-night thread that I first liked because it fit my time zone and then because it was such a good thread. Good to see you again. :)

Hi omg I am so happy to hear you are doing well. You say it was all about diabetes control and weight loss but I know it was all about your two young boys. You are quite amazing what you have come through . I dont think anyone quite realises what you have gone thtough and you are totally inspiring to anyone.. hope your family are well. Best wishes.

Being follicly challenged I have many caps, buffs, Tilley Hats, beanies and fedoras. Seldom seen summer or winter without some headgear and to think back in the 60s I had lots of long hair. :(

My father never left the house without wearing a hat. One of my best male friends is the same. So because of them I like to see men wearing hats. It's a good tradition. :)
