Morning all. 5.7 for me and I’m feeling v guilty as I found a Happy Anniversary card on the kitchen table which Mr C had left before he went to work. It’s been 37 years, sounds longer than it feels.
Anyway I’d completely forgotten about it, hence the guilt, double guilt in fact as I also forgot to make his packed lunch last night.
Out for a Dennis walk in a sec then off to collect No 1 daughter’s dog then settle in front of daytime TV to watch our own fabulous @Debandez socking it to ‘em on Phil &Holly’s sofa.

@jjraak the world is now your oyster and I’m glad the work thing has resolved itself to your satisfaction. An exciting time ahead for you.

Ok, honesty time for me now. I almost didn’t want to post today. I woke to a 7.6, last night I was naughty and had a large pizza to myself about 9pm. Although I’m high this morning, I was 8.3 last night and went to near 10 a couple of times over night, (the libre shows all) I expected to go much higher. Previously on insulin I’d be up near or above 30 by bed time. I’m not posting pics of the train because I didn’t get very far yesterday, will update on that tomorrow.

Never mind the train Fndwheelie have you got any photos of the pizza...I love pizza & have been known to have a slice or two since my diagnosis...I wouldn't worry about it & certainly I wouldn't not post your FBG as you wont find judgement here...I think we've all 'broken free' on occasion...my last time was perri perri chips & flat bread in Nandos'...it was worth it.

I could say “Oops!” - however I rarely remember anniversaries or even birthdays. Still, happy anniversary to you both and thank you for the reminder about the TV slot with @Debandez

@gennepher thanks but I am no winner. People such as yourself, @DJC3 @karen8967 @Cumberland @alf_Josiah and way back @Ziggy2017 are proper winners. I'm no fighter either. I just want things to do what they are supposed to do and I can't stand lame excuses like LC isn't an exact science or that level isn't too bad, Really not useful for me. Loved the photos by the way.

Things went mostly to plan yesterday so it's all good

Today mum's little dog gets her hair cut mid afternoon so we will probably have a good 'brunch' before we collect her, we'll take her for a walk and give her a good brushing and detangling before the appointment.
Suzie loves the walk and really doesn't mind either the brushing or the hair clippers but approach with the claw clippers and it's 'get thee behind me satan'

Great fbg, great news from yesterday and as for "our team" to me at least you are a talisperson. Hope that a normal person. eating a recognisable diet can do this. Give my love to Suzie.
