They have to see immediately he is an elderly cat with a nasty infection...you have hearing difficulties & need to attend your appointment impress that upon them...could you leave him there & collect him on your return?

However, they are only open an hour in the morning, and it is closed/shut all day, and then an hour in the evening with no one in attendance all day (it is just a shop front with one consulting room). Which means he would then be transfered by vehicle to their other main vetinary practice nearly 20 miles away where there are (if I left him) people in attendance during the day and manned by one person at night for the sick animals in their care.
I don't have time to go to the main vetinary practice before my hospital appointment. I am already cutting it fine going to this nearer one.
I know this from my Hearing Dog Meg when she was ill.
So I won't be leaving Popeye because that is a lot of extra trauma for him, bring driven to another place by strangers.
If this local one were open all day then that would be another matter.
When I went 6 years ago with my dog Meg, it was just drop in, no appointment system, this appointment system is new.
