If you meant the bot fly and their larvae then no they don't leave humans alone always.But not as bad as Botts, they drive horses to panic. At least they leave us humans alone, I think.
Bring it on, I for one like your approach to seascapes. These waves are impressive I look forward to seeing the sea in its many moods.prepare to be bored, I'm thinking I'll try working on painting water/waves for a bit
Thanksgeefull xgood afternoon all
4.1 this morning
took soup to share for lunch over to mum's when we went to pick up her shopping list. Gave the bathroom and shower room a final clean and cleaned the hob before the visitors arrive
We shall probably drop the shopping off at mum's on the way home rather than taking it over in the afternoon tomorrow so they can have the afternoon to catch up on gossip in peace![]()
Hope your day is treating you kindly
@karen8967 - Happy Birthday
@Alien Aspie - ouch! hope things heal up quicklyand steroids seem to be a bit of a double edged sword?
@dunelm - like the foliage/flowers, very delicate
@gennepher - nice procreate sketch, full of light especially the shimmering golden path area
@Muddy Cyclist - looks like an impressive sky, a good way to start
art bit -
prepare to be bored, I'm thinking I'll try working on painting water/waves for a bit
this one was inspired by an image online, (Pinterest as usual)
trying out the new resist fluid I've bought, the original bottle must be 30 years old
it's still gluey but not quite as difficult to get off

Air raid shelters, bus shelters and bike sheds?Hug for bg control issues and hammered hand @Alien Aspie; have a great time in Whitby @dunelm and a magical Historical cycle ride @Muddy Cyclist; @lindisfel hope it is a dry grass day to celebrate the Lesser feast for The Birth of The blessed Virgin Mary. No idea what LC food is appropriate for such a day but as my signature implies, keep calm and eat avocado and salad for me. Toodle pip chums.
An intriguing mountain and sky @Alien Aspie ...Here's the art I wasn't going to do but did anyway whilst watching Dark Mirror

Wonderfully striking and atmospheric - nice little details along the path that leads to ......Fbg 6.1
My daily painting challenge was to use the Procreate quick sketch I did a couple of days ago. And to create a gentle misty ethereal scene.
Did that happen? No. Because between the layers I put an all black layer, and used the rubber tool on the painting above. I am having fun...
So, instead here is a more dramatic painting...
