They are really good snow drops, spooky or not, I like the strong light and green, brilliant.Fbg 6.2
Surprised? Me too, after my fresh egg sarnie and two extremely hugely delicious fresh cream cakes...and that was all I ate yesterday...and I really enjoyed it!
Today's painting in Procreate. The snowdrops I saw yesterday in the spooky historic graveyard...

Thank you. Yes horse I see fine although probably feels cheated at not being able to visit pastures new.Good morning everyone from a damp but hopeful start in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of far too much tarte flambée came in at 5.4 this am - oink oink.
Up and out early yesterday before the larks - larks? There are no larks here. Phone call to my mother in France - she has plans to be back home on Friday at some point. Parents underground garage has flooded so my sister has now to sort out recovery of their car - oh well, it will dry out - I hope. Experiment 2341 - submerge a Prius and then see if it will start once dried out.
@jjraak - smashing progress - up and at em.@
gennepher - big adventures resulting in a marvel of a spooky old oak. Lovely to see a snowdrop.
@Muddy Cyclist - Well I like the Beech trees - and hope that your friend does too. Result with team talk to MIL, post knockers - yep - hard work hope horse is OK and also your shoulders and back. Prospect of turning your watercolours into hard cash - nice.
Painting today - A4ish on my very absorbent yellow rice paper - tricky keeping the brushes dry but getting there. Hope everyone has a smashingly good Friday - don’t forget, you can have a treat this evening as it’s the weekend - time for koffy.

Thank you, aches not great, debating if Bike Ride will help or just make thing worse.good morning all
4.9 yesterday and 4.6 today
well looks like some of us were out adventuring yesterday @gennepher and @jjraakpersonally I sat inside and got nothing done. Mr gee did a couple of small jobs about the house but it was windy and very wet yesterday. We did get a bit of snow but it luckily turned to sleet and then to rain during the day.
Still very windy and wet here this morning, the wind is making spooky whoofling noises round the corners
@jjraak - Sobering images and we only hope for good outcomes
Your mobility progression seems to be going well to plan though, hugs for the worrying times but two gold stars for hard work and attitude
@Muddy Cyclist - I like your beech avenue, it has the soft misty light of early morning and the hints of colour in the shadows are very effective
sounds like yesterday was a real 'curate's egg' of a day. Hope the fencing aches subside quickly
@dunelm - a very pleasing landscape, you have a skill for anchoring things firmly and creating depth
@gennepher - that was a full start to the day by the sound of itI'm glad it was productive.
Your trip has produced a fine piece of art, I like the gnarled silhouette of the tree against that sky
Your snowdrop is delightful, very delicate against the light
art bit - trying out a new warm blue paint colour, image inspired by adrienne pavelka

Good morning all. Swipies still in transit and not the day for Stabbo. Camerawork postponed due to my having a UTI which Dr says is "just one of those things for a decrepit old wreck like you so suck it up pal." - I may have paraphrased slightly. Never met him but I think we'll get along just fine. Salmon and avo salad day today so God's Grace couldn't be made more obvious. Fence knockers must be fence post rammers (Julie feels safer holding posts when I use that after #hammerheadgate) @Muddy Cyclist so a good workout yesterday. Oops for parents Prius @dunelm but impressive artwork and very realistic oinkage. Another great piece or art from you @geefull and thank you for not forgetting Memeday @karen8967 . @gennepher spiffing fbg and great art. No need to self isolate yesterday so we took a drive - had to collect antibiotics - on which we saw several profusions of snowdrops. Pip Pip old toots.
Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who played conkers when children and those that still do.
A cheese and pickled onion induced 7.4 this morning, but that meter play games this morning, any more of its nonsense and it could be shown my carpenters hammer.
Covid rates seem to be falling, shame about my weight not doing the same, but no great or small surprise when me and me's give in to late night snacks.
Today here is roughly planned, it will involve tea and koffy regularly interspersed with trips to the small room to make room for more tea and koffy.
Well fellow posters, painters and gamers stay well, stay safe and avoid all links to heavy weight media speculating newspapers, the clue is in the word speculating.
To be fair he has regional accent with which I struggle so he may even have been reading his shopping list for all I know. I just read into what he said anything that suited me. I don't want any medical emergencies but I would quite like to meet him just to run the rule over him as it were.a funny for the take on doc..Liked it.
a win for the drive out...![]()
