Sun coming up on a November morning. Might even be a good day, despite shepherds' warnings.Fbg 6.6
On the wildlife trail camera in my back garden, the big fox is wary of the cat, Midnight, who is often asleep on the swing, and the fox keeps checking for the whereabouts of that cat.
Meanwhile someone else is checking on the whereabouts of the foxes...
Fox & Rat (have those foxes gone)
Rained all day, so damp and cold. Put some stuff on the swig to keep Jade warmer. Cut up a long sleeved wool jumper to make leg warmers. If I crocheted them from scratch, it would be months before I finished a pair (arthritis in my fingers). Put them on. Haven't taken them off. I'm even wearing them in bed....it actually helps with the diabetic pain in my feet.
I need to cut sleeves off more jumpers....
Creative is autumn, a digital early morning painting in Procreate.
I would so like some sunshine...
Time for a cuppa!
And a nap!

Smashing autumnals, I like the colour pallet in this one - interesting. Lots of wooly jumpers and second had fleeces in charity shops that deserve some bearing of arms - “the peasants want to bear arms”.Fbg 6.6

Just been wondering where I could get hold of a wooly jumper with sleeves wide enough to make leg warmers to fit me. I have one (currently wearing it) but I need that - all my others have sleeves too narrow. Still haven't figured out the sock loom I was given in August. If I could, maybe I could make some.Smashing autumnals, I like the colour pallet in this one - interesting. No Black Friday malarkey going on here - when an irresistible force (women eyeing up handbags) meets an immovable object (Yorkshire man’s wallet) and all that. got to love Kimchi - i do like to make my own - Hubble bubble. All the best with the appointment with a drip - keep warm.Good morning everyone from a bright and sunny Black Friday in Breckland. Some wag has decided to rename this year's spending fest Bleak Friday as the past 12 years have led to the attached. Not for Lady Mone or other cronies allegedly. Meanwhile, we ventured into Newmarket yesterday and snapped up some bargains including a heavy duty sleeping bag for me to sit in indoors (reduced by 30% ), some meat from a good butcher we have found and several yellow stickered goodies from some place originally run by two dudes called Mr Wait and Mr Rose. Kimchi and Suaerkruat also on special offer. (woot woot) Sorry to be a Traitor Alf. The assistant in the shop in which we bought the sleeping bag plus layers for children and JKP from (all heavily discounted) said ski wear, especially for kids, is flying off the shelves mainly to keep them warm indoors. Today Amazon goodies should come and it is Super Salmon Salad Day and I have an appointment with a drip. @gennepher hug for the wet and cold driving you to cut up jumpers but winner for the light and hope in that creative. @Krystyna23040 good news on powering through the admin. Everyone else enjoy today as much as you can.

Do local charity shops sell nice warm looking coats with wide sleeves?Just been wondering where I could get hold of a wooly jumper with sleeves wide enough to make leg warmers to fit me. Edit: Just had a thought. Maybe I could dig out one or 2 old sleeping bags and make them into kind of long skirts - might be a bit narrow, of course. We always, for some reason, bought ones shaped from wider shoulders to narrow feet. Warmer, I suppose, but I don't like having my feet restricted. Might have a think about that. Blankets fall off when I walk around.
Artwork is looking fascinating, dunelm, but Ian has put me in the mind of spiders now and it's making me shudder. I have an image in my mind of a huge, man eating spider, lurking somewhere on those steps; or may be just beyond the doorway at the top.Good afternoon from what has been a very pleasant sunny day so far in the dark and dangerous north. Girl in the bubble today so we meandered into town trying to spot our shadows in between the sun bursts and those shadows cast by Cliff and his zombie gang of immortals - we all know that his song “Living Doll” was a clue. He has been hiding in plain sight for hundreds of years until he made the mistake of appearing in Expresso Bongo. Managed the complete circuit today - town and back to see how far it was. Art bit, last of the scratchy details. Hope you are all managing to keep away from those amazing money off adverts for stuff you didn’t even know you needed. Koffy - do I deserve another?

I'll have to ask DIL - I can't get into charity shops these days.Do local charity shops sell nice warm looking coats with wide sleeves?

Do you have stuff like clothes and old blankets put away in boxes or something. Any old coats you don't wear? Any scarves? Do the men have any stuff of theirs you could nick? Or they would be willing to part with.Just been wondering where I could get hold of a wooly jumper with sleeves wide enough to make leg warmers to fit me.
