Enjoy your time with you friend. Thanks for sharing the art update. You just know Rish! is going to claim that as a new hospital since to qualify as a new hospital Anything Goes.Good morning everyone from a strangely bright start here in the dark and dangerous north but another day when we don’t have to water the newly laid turf - hurrah! 5.3 this morning. Pal arrived last night after his flight was delayed a touch. Three monster hard shell suitcases. I thought that he was smuggling his family so that he could pay for his business class seat. But no, they are mainly empty so that he can fill them up with groceries that they either can’t get in California or they are very expensive (he is a Yorkshire lad). Art bit, moving along. Hope you have a smashing pre bin day. Best have some lofty.

Happy Birthdays...Greetings Pop Pickers, Finger prickers and Swipers here assembled. Stan, Stan the lab man gave a 4.1 for the sample taken at 8.40 a.m. yesterday - fasted since 750 mls Darjeeling with slices of lemon makes the cut - allegedly. Seems about right even adding the potential .5 for glucose degradation twixt sample and analysis. Whole bunch of other data seems okey-dokey so on we go to phone appt Friday. Very fast turn around and feedback thanks be to God. @Krystyna23040 hug for another busy day and yes, it is an interesting place which is on the list of places to take grandchildren this summer and hopefully acquire buffalo steak. #1 grandson loved it when we lived nearer. He slept over 3 nights per week for a while - a magical time and wonderful blessing. @alf_Josiah I hope the piano lessons go well. As the song says why is youth wasted on the young? Yes, evangelism needs to pick a time and place carefully. @gennepher hug for the website issues, hopefully today will be a better day for you. Winner for a breathtaking creative. @Lamont D hug for yesterday. Today is 5th birthdays for a granddaughter and her cousin has hers Monday. Both already one year into formal schooling which is good but means they take exams almost a year early. Moules ( Milky's halum) frites were exemplary and double as good food to celebrate the parents of the BVM - St Ann and St Joachim. l may do some lawning and prepare for Bazball, The Little Guy, his sister and 2 cousins tomorrow.Have a good day y'all

I was approached years ago by a barn storming believer in the centre of Carlisle who thrust a leaflet in my hands, so I said a quick God bless you, as he moved on.Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and those suffering, age is a privilege denied to many, buy, why, o why does it come with so many ailments etc. Oh for the body of a 20 year old, I shall ignore the comment, “but you already have one in the freezer”.
Blood sugars this morning were a 6.1
Today I have to travel into the centre of Reading for my music lesson, the lesson is fine, but it is school holiday time and this afternoon town will be full of young teenagers, doing what teenagers do, ah bless them, but more and much more annoyingly are the religious fanatics, singing hymns, trying to give me bits of paper and engage me in dialogue, every week this happens. Therefore to counter this I say “ May your God go with you”. They find this simple Dave Allen comment offensive.
On a slightly different topic I am finally making progress with this wood store I have been asked to make, pictures will be taken when it is completed. It has to be a modular construction for transportation purposes.
Now it is time to depart, fodder, medication, indoor rain cabinet and finally last minute plinky plonky practice call.
Stay safe all and don’t accost me in Reading.
Thank you @gennepher.
I had that very experience a couple of months ago. Such a lovely chap. I did ask him where he had escaped from.I was approached years ago by a barn storming believer in the centre of Carlisle who thrust a leaflet in my hands, so I said a quick God bless you, as he moved on.
The leaflet warned me to repent of my sins or else I faced a very hot future in hell.
I wondered How many agnostics he converted into Richard Dawkins type atheists?

My sympathies on that it's why I no longer do much of the cooking at home I can't stand long enough to do the prep or cooking at the oven because of pain in back hip and leg on the right side left side is relatively OK. Got doctors appointment next Monday to discuss it.I am looking forward to going to the private physio next week. I am hoping they can find out why when I stand or walk after 15 mins of being vertical I have so much pain in lower back/upper hip it vertically immobilises me.
I tried the prescription covers for my shower. I thought they were going to be a disaster because it was a real struggle to get them on - mainly because I can't reach my feet, so had to struggle to get them on. Almost called for Neil to help, but finally did manage it - exhausted but successful. Then, they were very painful - they just reached above my knees and the tight seal dug in fiercely but it did keep the water out. Next time I'll try the Amazon ones.13.9 at 3.45. No idea why. Currently down to 11.4 after 3 cups of tea.
Yesterday I got my plastic covers for the bandages on my legs (at last) so I can have a shower this morning! Hurrah! I've been waiting for these covers to be prescribed for about 5 weeks (and unable to shower all that time) and had actually given up on them and ordered some from Amazon. Both arrived yesterday. It's like waiting for a bus.
Winner for the fbg but hug for standing problems. 2 Corinthians 7 seems to be trending. This morning fbg

That's one of the reasons I do less cooking these days. Can't stand for long enough to do the prep and, somehow, sitting at a table just doesn't seem to work, then there is trying to stand at the hob, perching stool doesn't allow me to reach the back of the hob. This morning fbg

Hope it all goes well for you and can be sorted. Yours isn't a moan just your maker gently reminding you this isn't how it is meant to be nor will it always be this way. Other views are available imho wrong but still freely available.I am looking forward to going to the private physio next week. Yesterday I walked down a couple of hundreds yards into our hamlet and it became very painful and it was only by leaning forward on the top of a farm gate supporting myself for 5 mins I was able to walk back home.
It is stopping me improving after the heart attack.
I took 2 gabapentin as had been suggested with no effect.
This has gone on for three years but has got a lot worse recently.
I keep hoping I will wake up and it's disappeared!
There is far worse at 84 why should I have a moan?
Have a great day all.

I dont know how I managed that. 'vertically' should read 'virtually'.I am looking forward to going to the private physio next week. I am hoping they can find out why when I stand or walk after 15 mins of being vertical I have so much pain in lower back/upper hip it vertically immobilises me.

Just put it down to autocorrect. Your octogenarian club is joined today by the first born of Basil Fanshawe (Joe). and Eva formerly of Dartford. Wild horses wouldn't drag his name out of me not even for brown sugar in my coffee with a side of cake (what, I can't suck it and see if I like it?) which gave me sticky fingers, served by Angie. Hold the goat's head soup thoughI dont know how I managed that. 'vertically' should read 'virtually'.![]()
A private physio gets paid, an NHS physio gets paid. And it should be done as treatment regardless. I just hope it works for you mate, I know that having good physio is so i important to your general health. I have to say since my arthritis took hold, the varying exercises to help have been very good.I am looking forward to going to the private physio next week. I have spent three hours this morning filling out an online form for caring from the council. I found it very frustrating, some stupid questio questions that had to be answered or you couldn't move on etc. New passwords, so annoying! No wonder my fasting is up!Fbg 6.5
Rain all day again yesterday.
Butterflies appeared in the brief respites.
Icy cold wind.
An application form took me all day to do. The site broke down, stopped functioning, deleted my carefully filled in page, accepted my password then refused it saying a Capital letter had to be the first letter and a number had to be the last letter, then it refused to turn to the next page, and so on. Finally I reached the page where they wanted some scanned documents. Did the site play ball with me ? No...
It crashed when I tried to upload.
I get it up and running again, and can I find the scanned documents bit?
I am going through every detail in that form. After an age I finally find it. By 6 pm I am in bed physically and mentally exhausted.
I now have to wait 5 days to see if it is approved...

Full of admiration for your love and care you show your wife. Take the very best care of yourself. I have a soft spot for Lancs due to a certain Clive Hubert Lloyd - what a guy.6.6 after filling in forms and phone calls from council, social services, and so on.
Assessment on offer for a lot of issues. Friday afternoon for the social.
Haven't got over yesterday's trauma, the better half has been oblivious in her pit for most of it, I cooked her tea, then rhubarb crumble as a treat! Lashings of tea! And I hope she is alright later for having enough rest for another doctors appointment tomorrow.
A beautiful sunny morning on the peninsula, but is now clouding over, rain in forecast again. Lancs cricket on YouTube, as I write this. No plans today! But things out of my control will obviously intervene!
Have a lovely day.
Was that Lancs or Lance? If Lance - who he? Clive H Lloyd I've heard of.Full of admiration for your love and care you show your wife. Take the very best care of yourself. I have a soft spot for Lance due to a certain Clive Hubert Lloyd - what a guy.
Oops Lancs - guess I could claim it was autocorrect or fat finger syndromeWas that Lancs or Lance? If Lance - who he? Clive H Lloyd I've heard of.
