Morning all from a sunny, now, L.A. after a sub-optimal start which required layers - clothes not chickens. An unknown fbg just now. Best wishes for Alistair and Mrs Miggins, thoughts and prayers for their nearest and dearest who will also be apprehensive at the least. @gennepher and @dunelm thank you both for sharing your art. @Annb that cake will be a triumph so those being offered some are in for a treat. JKP did make an LC version, which was very good, as that is one cake I would eat previously. Enjoy your day as much as possible - still no socks needed here which has to be a blessing.

Waiting for Neil to go to the local shop for me for some eggs. Then I can make a new start on those cakes. I did manage to salvage some bits of the ones I made yesterday, which I will be able to make something with, but not a presentable cake.

Good morning everyone from a much cooler start here in the dark and dangerous north.
5.6 this a.m.
An afternoon sat in the Trauma Clinic yesterday watching a parade of coloured casts, splints and the occasional external wire contraptions. Mrs Miggins is now sporting a bright green Irish Rugby Team supporters cast. Another X-ray confirms that for now at least, things are looking as well as they can be and no mention of pins. Back next Wednesday for another X-ray and a visit to the inner sanctum of ‘The Consultant’s room’.
Art bit. Crumpled rice paper and ink.
Hope you are immersed in this particular Wednesday - other days are either spent or yet to come. I finished my koffy and am now immersing myself in conversations with the washing machine.

How apt. I was just researching castles that my husband's ancestors may, or may not (probably not), have lived in and there I see a dark and brooding edifice which could well have been one of them.

Had a lovely walk in the park with Bonnie. She was really good. She was really good. The gets really scatty when there is a full moon but thank goodness she has settled down now.

Am in the podiatrist waiting room at the moment.
