Morning all on a dull, calm day here in L.A. Last fbg for a while as this sensor is ending this evening and various unavoidable medications and treatments will skew the readings so much as to make them meaningless, imho. Today's effort was 5.2 which is high for me in normal times but o.k. for now. #3 son's op went safely and he is home, head heavily bandaged, in pain and needing plenty of rest. He was sent home with no pain relief but the P family pharmacy solved the problem. For some unknown reason he and his partner rehomed a large, boisterous dog. A cross between a Dog de Bordeaux and a Neopolitan Mastif. We have been tasked with collecting a house camera so #3 can keep an eye on him while he needs bed rest. Ladbrookes have opened a book on the time Hugo, Hugeo would be more apposite, eats the camera. @alf_Josiah good news on no medical appointments. Yes, 1549 car parks were busy with those Chelsea Shire horses taking 2 hitching posts
@Annb how very kind of you to offer to help but learning to say no sometimes may be a skill to develop. I'm sure the presentation will be a well received success. We have two grandchildren sleeping over to allow #3 some recovery time. #1 has arranged some fireworks for this evening as he has a large garden so they will spend time with their cousins. Due to the horses next door - though some way away - it will be a small affair unlike those we had for the family "back home" complete with remote detonation system - for safety. Crazy/extravagant now looking back but #1 son would have some of these in a heartbeat if not for the horses. To be fair at least one, the biggest, display was for an engagement party for #2 son. Enjoy Friday - my memories of those displays will do me nicely for now. Thanks be to God for all my blessings and peace be with you all.
